Harry Potter and the Elder War

Prologue:

The clashing and clanging of metal could be heard from hundreds of feet away. The air was crackling with magic and raw, unfiltered power. The ground shook violently with the footfalls of Giants and the sky shone orange with the flames and fury of Dragons. The trees rocked with the climbing limbs of the Acromantula as they attempted to fend off the attacking Hippogriffs. Chaos filled the atmosphere as a battle to rock the world was being waged. Amidst the blurs and masses of creatures, both dark and light, swirled on the battlefield, several groups of humanoids were seen engaging in fierce and bloody fighting. Sword and Dagger pierced flesh as the two sides fought, curses, jinxes and hexes causing a blinding rainbow of light to surge and pulse between the combatants. In the center of it all, the most furious and ferocious of the fighting was occurring. Two figures, both still robbed and brandishing short sword made of magic and steel were attacking and parrying viciously, trying to gain the advantage over each other. After what seemed like an eternity, one of the figures was struck with a powerful blow that sent him flying backwards several feet. The attacker quickly pressed his advantage and leaped in for another strike when an enormous glowing orb of blue light surrounded both combatants. The attacker continued to charge headlong into the fray as the orb pulsed and collapsed, both men disappearing from the raging battlefield...

Harry awoke with the feel of something wet on his cheeks and forehead as well as weight on top of him. He opened his eyes groggily to find none other than his fiery, gorgeous girlfriend Ginny Weasley straddling his still groggy body. She noticed his eyes slipping open and moved to cover his lips with her own. She kissed him deeply and passionately, her tongue slipping inside his mouth, deepening the kiss ever further. Harry's hands slipped up and held onto her waist, slowly reaching under her shirt to caress the soft skin of her hip. Ginny responded by burying her hands in his hair, holding his head close as they continued to passionately embrace one another. After what felt like forever, Ginny finally broke the kiss and looked into Harry's emerald eyes as she kissed his nose affectionately,

"Good morning sexy," she said cheekily as she continued to pepper his face with kisses.

Harry smiled warmly at the loving woman who was making him feel like he was the luckiest bloke in the entire world. He simply loved mornings like this, especially when he was at the Burrow. Now fully awake, Harry moved his hands to cup Ginny's cheeks gently, bringing her face up to his as he kissed her deeply.

"Good morning Gorgeous," Harry replied, making Ginny blush slightly. She loved it when he called her that. She smiled against his lips and lifted off Harry, grasping his hands as she pulled him into a sitting position. She then moved to sit next to Harry on the bed and placed her head gently on his shoulder, sighing contently.

"Mum told me to wake you up and tell you that breakfast will be ready soon," she said as her fingers caressed Harry's arm. Harry turned his head slightly and smiled into Ginny's eyes,

"I'll just shower and meet you down there then?" Harry asked happily.

"OR, I could always join you for a shower?" she replied seductively as she placed a hand gently on his inner thigh, giving it a slight squeeze. Harry groaned lightly in response, but as much as that sounded delicious, he didn't want to betray Mrs. Weasley's trust.

"I'd love to Gin, but we did promise your mum that we'd behave."

Ginny sighed in mock frustration and moved to stand in front of Harry. She bent down lowly, letting her nightshirt fall off her skin, displaying the soft creamy mounds that lay beneath it. She looked into his eyes once again, taking in their brilliant color as they fixated on her exposed flesh. She smiled and kissed him on the lips lightly but sweetly.

"Fine, I'll behave. See you down there," she said as she suddenly sprung away from Harry and swayed her hips seductively as she left the room. Harry grinned to himself, 'how did I ever get so lucky?' he wondered as he entered the bathroom and started getting ready for breakfast with the Weasleys and Hermione. He had a feeling it was going to be a fantastic day.

In the middle of the Forbidden Forrest the sky began to glow bluish-white and began to crackle and fizzle with tremendous magical power. A small orb appeared in the epicenter of the glow and its luminosity began rise as the orb grew in size. Then, suddenly it vanished in a mind boggling flash so bright it lit up a rather large section of the Forrest. When the flash died and the darkness settled back in, a tall, muscular, hooded figure stood, head bowed and clutching a sword in its left hand. The figure's head crept up and a set of crystal blue eyes pierced through the darkness surrounding its face. Those entrancing eyes began to scan the surrounding area, scanning for treats and possible assailants. With no possible attackers present, the figure moved its left arm slowly towards the right side of its hip. The sword made a distinct metallic hissing sound as it slid into the sheath resting at the figure's hip.

The set of crystal eyes scanned its surroundings once more. All of the wildlife seemed to be either scared off or petrified by the mysterious arrival of this stranger. The shadows of the tall trees of the forest hid the true features of the being. After thoroughly seeing that nearly all of the wildlife was scared off by its arrival, shifted slightly from its offensive stance.

"Mmm," the figured growled throatily as it began to walk off from the site of its arrival. It quickly disappeared into the shadows and made its way to what looked like a clearing in the dense foliage. After a few minutes of walking, the figure emerged from the forest and set its eyes on the massive castle that lay before it. Those eyes bored into the building for several minutes before it shifted and resumed its walk, now heading towards the unfamiliar structure...
