I had exactly the same thought when I watched the corresponding episode of the anime. It really did seem, for a brief second there, like Gin might actually have been a decent human being at one point. But since it's Gin, you can't really know.Truer Words

Hah, I kinda figured he actually meant it when he said he was sorry, because in earlier panels of the manga, he states that he wished his capture by Rangiku could've been longer. Ah, Gin, my fourth favorite character xD. First would be Kaien-Dono, then Grimmjow...then Renji >_>
