Chapter 3
“so what brings you here?” he asked, I sighed
“holiday” I replied and gently pushed my hand out to the rain, I smiled as it felt so warm to touch, the slipperiness within my grasp made it irresistible,
“Want to play a game with us?” he asked, I looked around
“what kind of game?” I asked back, he smiled and lent in to me
“hide and go seek” he replied which made me smirk
“of course I am in” I replied and moved a little away from Gerard
“so what’s your speciality?” he asked, I smiled
“let’s just say I know what you’re thinking” I replied as Frank came out of the house, he smiled when he saw Gerard
“Nice to see you Gee, I thought you were staying with the family for a while” said Frank, Gerard smiled
“I was told that Niomi was coming so I had to just come and meet her” he said smiling, I smiled back and went inside the house
“excuse me” I said softly, Frank and Gerard nodded and let me go without a word, I went up to my room and quickly changed into a new shirt and put on a jacket, Monica came into the room
“Niomi, sweetie, Are you playing Hide and Seek?” she asked, I smiled and nodded
“of course I am, it sounds like fun” I replied, Monica nodded
“come lets go and get started, Frank is counting first” she said, I smiled and walked down stairs as Gerard and Frank were waiting
“you look clean” said Gerard, I smiled
“more comfortable then clean” I replied as Frank too my hand and lent in to me
“go to meadow and meet me in the barn at the top” he whispered, I looked at him and nodded
it may take a while with Gerard wanting to talk to me I said to him through his thoughts, He nodded and smiled
Gerard is going to ask you out, but as soon as I say go, you have about a minute to become invisible like I know you can he said, I giggled to myself as which everyone looked at me
“sorry” I said and focused on the rules of the game, Frank smiled as I said he will count to one hundred and then find us, the first found would be in, I nodded as we stepped out into the rain, shivering slightly by the coolness
“okay go” said frank as he turned his back, Gerard was talking to Monica so I ran a head a little behind a tree and transformed into a invisible vampire which no one could see, not even my fellow vampires, I crept up to Gerard and listened for a bit as Frank was still counting
“She is unusual” said Gerard as he looked around Monica smiled
“yes, she is perfect in many ways, except that she doesn’t trust Frank I think, her is in love with her, always have been, just two different people I guess” said Monica, I stood there in shock and tried not to breath too heavy, Monica looked up in my direction
“well Frank is finished counting, lets go down to the stream” she replied, Gerard nodded as Monica and him walked down to the nearest stream with much hast, I looked around and noticed everyone was gone, I quickly walked to the meadow and saw the barn in the distance, I quickened my pace and slid into the barn without making a sound, I looked around and noticed that someone was here, I slowly crept up and gasped when I noticed Frank already there, He was sitting down on a wine barrel looking a little disappointed
“I thought you were not going to come” he said softly, I smiled and made myself visible again, He looked up and smiled
“I would never break my word” I replied, Frank stood up and walked over to me and took my hand
“How did you know I could disappear?” I asked with interest, He smiled more and squeezed my hands a little
“I asked about you to your mother” he replied, I looked at him with a little disappointment in my eyes
“you spoke to my mother about me?”I asked, Frank looked deep into my eyes looking for some emotion,
“yes , I met up with her last summer when I was in New York on some business” he said, I nodded and stepped back a little
“did I do something wrong?” he asked, I shook my head and looked around for the door
“I errr have to go” I said softly as I finally found the door and walked over to it, Frank caught up with me, he gently took my hand and slowly pulled me close to him
“I did do something wrong” he said, I looked at Frank in the eye
“no you didn’t, it was my mother who pushed me to come here, so I would be set up with you, How can I make up my own mind without being forced into a relationship” I said softly, Frank looked hurt and stood away from me
“I wasn’t going to force you into anything, I just wanted to tell you that I like you” he said, I nodded and felt terribly bad for saying what I said earlier
“Frank, I like you too” I replied, He looked up at me and smiled
“well I will be right back, don’t go anywhere” he said still smiling, I looked at him
“hang on I will come with you” I replied, Frank smiled as I turned in visible again, I slowly took his hand so he knew I was with him,
“lets go” I replied, Frank laughed as he opened the barn and quickly walked around the meadow, Frank stopped in his tracks and looked where I was standing
stay here he said to my thoughts and ran off, I heard a scream shortly after followed by laughter
“your in next time Sarah” he called, I smiled and turned back visible, Frank came out with his younger sister and smiled when he saw me
“Darn it, I thought you would have found someone else, you took so long” she whinged making Frank laugh more
“lets go back to the house, Everyone would have heard you laugh” said Frank, Sarah ran off as I waited for Frank, the rain still pouring down on us, my hair wet as well as what I was wearing, He smiled and gently pulled me close to him
“you look so good all wet” he said softly making me blush slowly
“well thank you, you don’t look too bad yourself” I replied, Frank laughed as he took my hand and we walked back to the house, Monica was waiting for us
“its time to rest, Niomi would you like a shower or something?” she asked, I smiled and shook my head
“I am fine thank you, I think I will just go up to my room” I replied, She nodded and let me pass, Frank looked at me
speak to you soon he said softly in my mind, I smiled as I climbed the stairs and kept walking to my room, excitement consumed my body as I changed, Frank liked me and I like him, but what if this was wrong and something I shouldn’t do I thought
its right said Frank again, flooding my thoughts, I sat down on the couch and listened to some music, My eyes closing as I thought about what could happen if I choose to stay.

“hang on I will come with you” I replied, Frank smiled as I turned in visible again, I slowly took his hand so he knew I was with him,
“lets go” I replied, Frank laughed as he opened the barn and quickly walked around the meadow, Frank stopped in his tracks and looked where I was standing
stay here he said to my thoughts and ran off, I heard a scream shortly after followed by laughter
“your in next time Sarah” he called, I smiled and turned back visible, Frank came out with his younger sister and smiled when he saw me
“Darn it, I thought you would have found someone else, you took so long” she whinged making Frank laugh more
“lets go back to the house, Everyone would have heard you laugh” said Frank, Sarah ran off as I waited for Frank, the rain still pouring down on us, my hair wet as well as what I was wearing, He smiled and gently pulled me close to him
“you look so good all wet” he said softly making me blush slowly
“well thank you, you don’t look too bad yourself” I replied, Frank laughed as he took my hand and we walked back to the house, Monica was waiting for us
“its time to rest, Niomi would you like a shower or something?” she asked, I smiled and shook my head
“I am fine thank you, I think I will just go up to my room” I replied, She nodded and let me pass, Frank looked at me
speak to you soon he said softly in my mind, I smiled as I climbed the stairs and kept walking to my room, excitement consumed my body as I changed, Frank liked me and I like him, but what if this was wrong and something I shouldn’t do I thought
its right said Frank again, flooding my thoughts, I sat down on the couch and listened to some music, My eyes closing as I thought about what could happen if I choose to stay.
