- Actually the 'final confrontation' with Tom will take place before the same with Dumbles...
Y'know, that could really be a righteous revenge on Dumbles, take down his biggest enemey; then turn around and take him down just as easily. It's a pity Tom won't get to see Albus humbled, though it might be a nice touch on Harry's part, just before he finishes Tom, to let him know that Albus will be joinging him short - and perhaps even let Tom know just what will happen to Albus; after all, they've both been wronged by him and Tom deserves to know that there will be a reckoning for the manipulative old coot.Author's response
Hows this for a cliffie then? Tom will be dealt with prior to Dumbles, but he will be there to see Dumbles fall...The Acts Of Betrayal

Y'know, ,once the full truth about what's going on in Slytherin gets known by Daphne and Hermione, I can see them making it public knowledge in such a way that a horde of witches from the other three Houses descends on Slytherin to succor and avenge their sisters. 'Twould not be a good time for 'most all the males in Slytherin (there -might- be some innocent firsties, but I doubt too many more than that). The Acts Of Betrayal

Ah, how appropriate. The Man Who Kicked Ass.
Ginny was just brilliantly done, and the powerful Neville, operating on nothing but determination was a joy to behold. It's good to see his gran's acceptance.
Of course pureblood boys should have some fun. Then you grind them to pieces. I'm looking forward to the Reckoning. No doubt will it deserve a capital letter.
Keep up the good work.

- I have long believed that Neville has always gotten stuck with the sticky end of the stick in canon, even in DH where he was by far the least whiny character and arguably the actual hero of the piece...
- Ginny has some problems, and Neville is working through his own.
- I'm not doing anything to the PPB (Pure Blood Bastards). I just sit back and report what Hermione is doing.

I loved the way this chapter started off.....Fred and George's attitude towards Malfoy's death was spot on! I could see the two of them saying just that as they worked on the latest Wheezes and considered how to help Harry. I also liked Tracey's talk with Hermione.....they might never be close friends but have a good working association. Draco and the other rapists are about to meet a most unholy alliance (evil grin). I look forward to seeing what the co wives come up with! And Neville rocks! I'm not suprized that last DE sang like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I had the feeling that Kingsley is considering a future team for his department: Potter and Longbottom. Poor Voldy (not)....between Harry and Neville he's losing all of his best minions. Looks hopeful....is Snape next? Will Harry and Neville fix him next Potions class? Has Ginny totally lost it? Is it a mixture of Voldy's possession, Dumbles's actions and her own choices? Is Ron going through something similar? It seems that Hannah will fit right in with the Longbottom family, I liked seeing how Hannah made it clear to her future in laws that she and Neville are together. Here's another alliance that Dumbles will have a hard time dealing with! Hmmmmm...this chapter showed Voldy's reactions, and I can't wait to see Dumbles! Many thanks for this installment!Author's response
- The twins aren't the type to cry over spilled milk.
- I figured the best method of redirecting Hermione's anger from herself would be to give her a target...
- Neville's a good guy, who has been crapped on by pretty much everyone. Now the shoe's on the other foot.
- Snape is going down, but all Harry and Neville are going to be doing is sitting in the audience with a jumbo box of popcorn...
- Yeah, Ginny's lights are on, but no one is home. Ron too. Dumbles or their own actions? Yes.The Acts Of Betrayal

Great chapter. Voldemort is not having a good week, such a pitty... I look forward to the ladies and Harry doing a little house cleaning. Thanks for writing. W.The Acts Of Betrayal

Thank you for this most excellent story.
I am really enjoying the strength of Harry's ladies. Too often, Harry is the strong one, and everyone else rides his coattails. So far, he has shown amazing strength of character, but his greatest strength seems to be his ability to support and inspire those around him.
I'm not usually a fan of the "Ginny Weasley, Potion Pusher" theme, Harry/Ginny being one of my two favorite pairings (Yeah, I know, everyone hates Ginny. I like her. Live with it.) But you have really pulled it off. Her decent into serious psychosis is actually one of my favorite parts of your story. I wonder how much tweaking Puppet...I mean Head/master Dumbledore had to do to get her that f*ed up. I'm sad to see her coming so literally unhinged, but she /is a fictional character, so I can't really get too worked up over it. (Unless you believe Heinlein's theory about authors from 'Number of the Beast', but that's a whole different discussion.)
I wonder: does Narcissa actually have any real hope that Draco will chose redemption, or does she simply think that he's better off dead than branded?
I am looking forward to the can of whup-ass that Hermione and Daphne are going to open on the abusers at Hogwarts. Hell, it looks to be a barrel, not a can. waiting with eager anticipation.
Thanks again for your efforts.Author's response
- Thank you
- IRL women are almost always stronger than men. Anyone who doesn't think so, has either led a sheltered life or doesn't know all that many women.
- Potions are the only way to explain her sudden importance to Harry... But I digress. Her descent into madness will be explored, I promise. I find the 'world as a myth' theory suspect, but maybe I'm just written that way.
- Narcissa loves her son and has given him his best chance at survival, taking that chance is his problem.
- The Women of Hogswarts are going on a rampage...The Acts Of Betrayal
(#) Teresa 2008-01-10
A rampage......Dumbles and Snape might wish that it was only a rampage. I was thinking it would be a Catagory 5 hurricane myself. And that's just for starters. Voldy might be grateful that he's got a secret lair well away from Hogwarts once reports start arriving about the Doom that's Coming for the rapists and their enablers. Voldy and Dumbles better put an ad in the paper for a new Potions Master, their current one isn't going to last much longer. It couldn't happen to a more deserving fellow. Will McGonagall and Poppy be senior advisors for Hermione, Daphne and company? For that matter, Madam Pince knows every book in the Hogwarts library and Hermione loves to put her research into action. As always, I look ahead with eagerness to the next chapter! Many thanks!Author's response
- It seems to me that with the various methods of control of another human being from Canon (the methods only multiply with the evil imagination of Fanon) rape MUST be relatively common in BWS.
- It also seems to me that there must be a tipping point before the Women bring on the wrath of god against their abusers.
- In this case the 'tipping point' is named Hermione Granger. (she loves Harry, but would never take his name, she has a perfectly good one of her own thank you very much.)The Acts Of Betrayal

'The Man Who Kicked Ass'
LOL!
Well the prophecy probably was set up to go either way so I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Neville had power close to Harry's.Author's response
- I haven't quite figured out how I'm going to show it, but once Neville has a chance for his core to power up, he will be MORE powerful than Harry.
- But Harry is the one with the power Tommy knows not. I don't think anyone has used this one yet...The Acts Of Betrayal

Very good chapter. I hate rapists, had a dear friend raped at age 12 and I know what it did to her. We were so close and she couldn't even be in the room with me for a long time. That hurt as we were always together and hugging and kissing. We were 12 and talked about everything. She told me about things from a female point of view and I told her what guys thought. Make 'em squeal with the pain.
