a wonderful conclusion to the first part of what looks to be a unique and wonderfully thought out story... many congrats...
where will you take this from here, u have already eluded to some changes in the following yr...
will u be starting a new story or will u be adding yr 4 to Alchemical Reactions??
regardless, hoping to hear from you soon..Author's response
Thanks! I plan on continuing with updating Alchemical Reactions and not beginning a fourth year, because it's really as if I had it structured by years in the first place. A seperate story may appear in the future, but not at this point.
Thanks for reviewing!Alchemical Reactions

This is a wonderful, unique look at what HP life could have been like if not at the Dursleys. What is so unique with your story is that he was still hit with so much tragedy, especially so young that by the time he is saved it is almost to late, he is so emotionally closed up.
Yet it goes to show that not being beaten down in his formative years he has the backbone to stand up to his situation. Love how Snape connected with him almost at once, as if instinctually knowing they had similar backgrounds. Although it does beg the question why no one (Flamel) ever sends him to counseling for the lack of emotional commitment.
One question, is Dumbledore suppose to come off as really evil or just highly manipulative and power hungry? Because I have to tell you he is coming off as evil, almost another Dark Lord.
Can't wait for more of this delightful story. ThanksAuthor's response
Hi there! Thanks for the lovely review!^^
To answer your question, Dumbledore is supposed to come off as a bit of both--manipulative and evil. However, there are decent reasons why he's evil, which will come into light much later in the fic.
Anyways, thanks for taking the time to review!Alchemical Reactions

I think well written, and I can say, well enjoyed.
I have all seven books and still think the hero, even a such a young age, would have had more assertiveness's (backbone). So, I like your hero a lot.
Even in the cannon, I wondered who the dark lord was, Dumbledore or moldishorts. Still wondering.
You wrote of immortality. Does that end if one of the two dies? Wasn't sure.
Again, enjoyed the read, and look forward to seeing where you go with this.
May the MUSE be with you!!!

while i enjoyed jk's books, her depiction of harry always irked me. given his background, harry would be much more assertive and independent, imo, much like the character in your fic. this story is well-thought out, well-written and engaging. im looking forward to seeing where you take it. read ya later!
