Emily, Gerard and Mikey all sat down in Emily’s room
“hey I was wondering, am I coming with you two tonight?” she asked, not knowing what she would do if she didn’t come, Gerard laughed at Mikey took her hand
“umm Emily I was wondering if you could play my set for me tonight?” he asked, Emily looked at him confused
“why?” she asked as the silence had lingered enough, Mikey sighed
“because my wife wants to spend some time with me” he said, Emily felt her heart strings pull a little
“okay Mikey, I will do it for you and for Gerard okay” she replied, Mikey smiled and kissed her forehead
“you know the playlist, its mostly the black parade with some sweet revenge in it” he said, Emily nodded as the thought of playing with thousands of fans made her feel nervous
“no problem” she said, Gerard walked up and handed Emily a skirt and top as well as some black tights
“wear thing okay” he said, Emily looked down and nodded
“sure let me go and have a shower” she replied as she walked to the bathroom.
There was a knock at the door making Mikey jump, he walked over and opened it slowly as Frank stood there looking a little out of space
“hey Frankie, what’s up?” said Gerard with a small smile
“I just wanted to tell Mikey that Alicia is here” he said, Mikey smiled and ran out the room
“bye sis” he yelled which made Emily laugh, Frank looked around
“where’s Emily?” he asked, Gerard smiled
“in the shower” he replied as he took some of her clothes and placed them in the suitcase
“I cannot believe how much she has grown up” said Frank as he sat down, Gerard looked up
“yeah she is something special, always has been but now she is unique” said Gerard, Frank nodded as he heard the taps turn off
“well I better go and get ready for the show, talk to you soon” he replied, Gerard nodded as Emily walked out in a towel
“hey Gerard can you grab my bra?” asked Emily as she looked at them both
“ohh sorry” she replied as she started to blush, Frank just kept nodding as he walked out, making sure the door was shut, Emily laughed a little as Gerard threw her what’s she wanted at her
“Frank seems to think you have grown up some” said Gerard as Emily walked back into the bathroom
“ohh okay Gee, just I didn’t know he noticed anything that much” said Emily as she got dressed, Gerard laid down on her bed and sighed
“I have a feeling about something” he replied
“ohh and what is this feeling about something?” asked Emily as she started to do her make-up
“never you mind littler sister, all is planned” he said and sprung up and walked into the bathroom, Emily laughed as Gerard grabbed her eyeliner and started to do his own
“isn’t it always planned these days” she said softly as she applied her foundation, Gerard laughed and nodded as they finished getting ready.
“Gerard its Joe, hurry up” he said as Joe knocked on the door again, Gerard walked over and opened the door
“sorry Joe, but Emily was changing” he lied, Joe nodded
“we are ready to go, Is Emily ready?” he asked as Emily walked to the door
“yeah Emily is” she replied making Joe laugh
“okay let’s get going then” he said as Emily grabbed her bag and followed Gerard and Joe who were talking about the set, Emily grabbed her own hands and started to talk herself into it
“hey” whispered someone behind her, Emily froze and slowly turned around
“ohh Frank you scared me, Hey” she replied clutching her chest, Frank smiled and walked next to her
“nerves?” he asked, Emily nodded and grabbed her own hands again, Frank smiled more
“you will be great, I know how good you play, but if you get into trouble just walk next to me and follow the lead” he said, Emily nodded as she couldn’t help but smile, her hands slowly coming undone as she relaxed about the whole situation, Frank touched her hand
“stop worrying, you will be fine” he said softly as they both stopped and looked at each other, Emily smiled shyly as she couldn’t help but stare into his eyes again, Frank lent forward a little as Bob came bouncing down the hallway
“come on guys Ray is waiting down stairs still” he said as the elevator doors opened as Bob practically dragged them both into it
“ohh Emily I heard you’re going to play tonight, so excited to see you play again” he said sounding excited, Emily looked at Frank and then at bob
“yeah me too, it will be good to play with a band again” replied Emily to bob, Bob nodded as the elevator opened and they walked out, Frank looked up as Emily talked to bob, he just wanted one day with her, just to talk to see if these feelings he was experiencing would go or not, Bob looked at Frank
“ohh I forgot something” he said and walked back to the elevator, Emily looked at him strangely but nodded as Frank looked at her
“so how is your girlfriend?” asked Emily breaking the silence, Frank looked at her strangely,
“it’s over, we broke up a while back” he said, Emily nodded
“ got a boyfriend?” he asked looking at her facial expressions, Emily shook her head
“no” she replied as Gerard saw them and walked over slowly
“come on you two, no need to take your time or anything” he said grabbing Emily’s hand, Frank nodded as he rushed to the darkened car waiting for them, Emily looked at her brother, he wasn’t trying to get them on time, he was protecting her, but the question was but Why?
“bob is coming” said Joe as Bob ran to the car
“hey Ray” said Emily as she sat down, Ray looked up and smiled
“wow Emily, you look fantastic” he said which made Gerard grunt a little
“she is my little sister man, keep it in your pants” he said making everyone laugh, except for Frank and Emily as they looked at each other, Emily looked away as the car drove to the place weaving in and out of traffic, Ray talking about the concert the other night, Emily did what she did when her mother spoke to her, Nodded and said wow I agree when she had too, Gerard was laughing as he knew what she was doing, Frank lent into Gerard
“dude why are you laughing?” he asked, Gerard smirked
“because my sister has the I am truly listening down pat” he said as he looked at Ray still talking as Emily looking out the window, Frank looked and then smiled, she was so cute and she knew how to handle things, Emily shot a glance at Gerard as a plea for help, Gerard nodded
“hey Ray, could you tell me why your boring my sister” yelled Gerard a little too high, making everyone laugh except Ray who looked a little shocked
“here we are guys” said Joe as he opened the door, Emily practically flew out the door to escape Ray and walked to the tour bus, Emily smiled
“you guys travel around in that” she said softly to herself
“yeah, but you should hear bob when he sleep, so loud” said Frank as he caught up with her, Emily giggled and turned around facing him, Frank smiled
“we will be leaving in it tomorrow night, we are heading up north” he said, Emily nodded as she couldn’t help but stare at Frank, Frank smiled as he walked a little closer to her
“I know you don’t know me that well, but I want you to get to know me” he replied, Emily nodded as she went to speak but then closed her mouth making frank smile
“tell me what you’re thinking?” he asked, Emily smiled
“ I was thinking how much I would love to get to know you” she replied as she grabbed her hands making Frank grab them
“come we better go and warm up” he said, Emily nodded as they walked into the arena, Frank still holding Emily’s hand as they walked into warm up room
“where is everyone?” asked Emily, Frank smiled
“we all like some space to warm up” he replied making Emily nod
“well let me grab Mikey’s Guitar and I will let you warm up” she said, Frank shook his head
“nah it’s okay you can warm up with me” he replied, Emily nodded as she walked up to Mikey’s case and slowly opened it, she smiled as she ran her hands along the strings and slowly picked it up, Frank grabbed his as he slowly strummed the chords
“feels a bit weird seeing you with Mikes guitar” said Frank, Emily laughed
“yeah I know, but I am lucky enough to use it” she replied as she strapped it on her and started to go through the basic warm up ritual that she always did, Frank tuned into her chords and joined her
“let’s try, the black parade” he said, Emily nodded as Frank started first and Emily joined in where the bass should be, Frank smiled
“you know it off heart, that’s amazing” he said as Gerard pushed through the doors
“hey sis, Frank, the support band is almost done, time to get this on” he said jumping about excitedly, Emily nodded as she grabbed the changeover guitar and followed Gerard who ran out the room
“let’s go frank” she said making Frank look up and walk over to her
“yeah let’s go for it” he replied making Emily smiled as she knew what he meant, Frank took her spare hand and walked out of the room, Emily smiled as Frank told her how they played on stage
“okay I will make sure to stand clear of you then” she replied, Frank laughed
“nah come over to me, Mikey does all the time, we chat a little” he said, Emily laughed and nodded as Ray walked up to them
“good luck tonight Emily” he said smiling and the frowned when he saw Frank’s and Emily’s hands
“thanks Ray, I am sure it will be fine” she replied, Ray smiled and walked off to the side stage, Gerard smiled as Joe took Emily’s spare guitar and then smiled more as he saw what he thought was cute, was Frank holding Emily’s hand? Or was he imagining it, Gerard walked over
“so” he said still looking down, Frank sighed
“come on Gee, you know I like Emily” he said, Gerard laughed
“yeah I know, I just hope Mikey likes you two like this when he gets back” he replied, Emily gulped a little and remember that Mikey would kill anyone he didn’t see worthy of her
“okay go to your places” said Joe, Frank took Emily to the other side of the stage as they waited, Jack hooked up Frank’s and Emily’s guitars as the crowd started to go crazy, Frank looked at Emily and lent in close to her
“good luck” he said softly, Emily smiled as Frank softly kissed her lips and hugged her, Emily smile more and kissed his cheek
“good luck to you” she replied as they stepped on stage and performed the hardest they could, Emily not missing a beat but almost tripping over Franks feet a few times but it all went well.
Emily sat outside the dressing room, in the fresh air, she looked around and just smiled as she took another drag from her cigarette, she heard the backdoor open and then close and some footsteps, as Frank sat down next to her
“ sorry for stepping on you” she replied with a small smile on her face, Frank laughed and sat down beside her
“nah I am lucky you’re not Mikey as he really stomps on me” he replied, Emily smiled as she took another drag of her cigarette, Frank slowly lit a cigarette up and breathe deeply, Emily gently lent into frank
“Frank do you mind if I lean on you?” she asked, Frank shook his head
“no not at all” he said, Emily smiled more and slowly rested her head on his should, frank moved his arm and placed it around Emily as he felt her coldness
“your freezing” he said, Emily shrugged
“I am in England wearing a short skirt, sitting outside while it snows but I am happy” she said, Frank smiled
“yeah me too, but without the skirt thing, I think it suits girls more” he replied, Emily giggled and felt his heart beat a little fast
“nervous?” she asked, Frank smiled
“A little” he replied honestly, Emily closed her eyes as they both stared out into the streets below and felt comfortable just sitting there enjoying each other’s company.
After they finished packing and finished up on the signing for the fans, everyone got into the car and drove back to the hotel, Emily could barely walk into the hotel so Gerard picked her up and carried her into her room and laid her on the bed as she sleep wearing what she wore, Frank was standing at the doorway as Gerard took off her shoes and placed a blanket over her
“so much for being younger makes you more of a party animal” said Gerard, Frank smiled
“you know Emily was never like that, she is someone special” he said, Gerard looked at her
“yeah no matter what she does I want to look after her” he said, Frank looked at Gerard in the eyes
“so do I Gerard, I mean it” he said, Gerard nodded as the both walked out of the room
“you have liked her for ages haven’t you?” he asked, Frank nodded as they walked into the room they were sharing
“for a while” he replied, Gerard nodded
“even when you were with Niomi?” he asked, Frank nodded as he hung his head, Gerard laughed
“hey man I am happy someone I know I can trust likes my sis, she deserves someone special and I think your SPECIAL” he said which made Frank laugh
“plus that Niomi was a bitch” he added, Frank nodded as he grabbed some stuff and walked into the bathroom, Gerard walked out to the balcony and had a cigarette as Frank showered and thought about the day.
