Emily woke to the sound of knocking she walked over to the door and opened it
“hey” said Frank with some coffee, Emily smiled and took the cup as she opened the door more to let him in, Frank walked in and sat down on her bed
“did you sleep well?” he asked, Emily smiled and nodded
“very well thanks” she replied, Frank nodded as he took a sip of the coffee and looked around the room
“well I think a shower is on the plan, when do we leave for up north?” asked Emily, frank looked at his watch and smiled
“in about 2 hours” he replied, Emily nodded and took a sip of her coffee as Frank grabbed some clothes for her
“go and shower okay I will wait” he replied, Emily smiled and walked over to Frank and took the clothes
“thanks” she replied as she walked into the bathroom and had a shower, Frank packed her clothes for her and made sure she had everything she needed, Emily walked out and smiled as she packed the clothes she had on last night in the bag
“thank you for cleaning up for me, you didn’t need to” she replied, Frank smiled as he pulled Emily close to him
“I was thinking we go for a walk before we go” he said, Emily smiled and nodded
“sounds good to me, let me grab a coat” she replied as she grab her coat and some boots as Frank buttoned up his jacket, Emily smiled as they walked out and down the hallway, just as the elevator opened and Mikey walked out with Alicia, he was smiling like he was on top of the world
“hey Emily and Frank, Alicia this is Emily my sister” he said, Alicia smiled and hugged her
“welcome to the family” said Emily as Frank looked around
“ where are you two going?” asked Mikey
“well I am hungry so Frank is taking me to the cafe down the road and then to the markets” she replied, Mikey nodded
“eww I hate markets, see you two soon” he replied as they went into the room where Gerard was sleeping, Emily laughed as they went into elevator and waited
“so you’re hungry?” asked Frank, Emily giggled
“yeah a little but I knew Mikey hates the markets so I had to make that one up” she said smiling, Frank smiled and pulled her into his arms and slowly kissed her forehead making Emily melt into his arms, the doors sprang open as they stepped out of the hotel and walked down the street, they stopped at a cafe and grabbed some muffins and the kept walked and eating at the same time, Frank kept Emily close to him as they stopped and looked at the shops, Emily seeing a black dress she liked and Frank seeing some new fingerless gloves that rocked his world
“I love being here, I always thought I would find someone I truly loved and take them here one day and ask them to marry me” he replied, Emily stopped walking and smiled
“It will happen Frank, one day” she replied, they started to walk again as Frank stopped outside a tattoo shop, Emily smiled as Frank walked in, she followed him and then smiled as she looked at the walls of different patterns, Frank walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist
“ see anything you like?” he asked, Emily smiled and saw a shooting star, she slowly realised how nice it would look on her hairline behind a ear,
“this would look great on my hairline, I think” she replied, Frank slowly brushed his fingers on her hairline
“beautiful more like it” he replied as a man walked out of the shop
“Frank Iero, wow it’s a pleasure to see you in my shop” he said, Frank smiled and shook his hand
“your shop is great, nice tattoo idea’s” said Frank, the guy smiled and looked at Emily staring at the star design
“you like?” he asked, Emily nodded as Frank squeezed her waist,
“its beautiful” she said, the guy smiled
“how about you get it, on the house” he replied, Frank looked at Emily who looked at the tattoo and then at Frank and nodded
“sure but instead of black in, can I have purple?” she asked, the guy nodded
“of course, come with me” he replied as they all went into the back of the shop and showed Emily where to lay down, Emily laid down and grabbed onto Frank’s hand
“stay with me” she said softly, Frank smiled and nodded as the guy started to set up what he needed, after a few minutes he was ready and applied the decal, Emily heard the tattoo gun start and felt a small sharp pain and then it went numb
“you’re doing great Emily” said Frank as the tattooist finished up on the star, Emily smiled
“doesn’t hurt as much as a thought” she replied as Frank kissed her hand
“tough girl” said the guy which made Emily laugh a little as he finished the final touches
“all done” he replied, Emily got out of the chair and has a look, she smiled as Frank took a picture using his phone, he slowly pulled Emily close to him and gently kissed her lips making Emily shake a little
“do you want me to sign something?” he asked to the tattooist, the guy smiled and handed him a huge poster of the band, frank laughed and sighed it writing a thank you as well, the guy smiled
“thanks so much for the tattoo” said Emily the guy smiled and hugged her
“you’re welcome anytime” he said, Emily looked around the shop as Frank spoke about the tour, Emily looked at the clock and gasped
“we need to get going frank, the bus will leave soon” she said, frank nodded as he said goodbye, Emily said thank you again as Frank took Emily by the waist and escorted her out of the shop, Emily snuggled into frank as they walked down the streets, no speak but just being together and feeling each other, Gerard was waiting for them his arms crossed as he tapped his foot violently
“where the fuck have you two been?” he asked, Frank went to open his mouth as Gerard grabbed Emily and pulled her inside
“you know fucking what, I don’t want to hear it” he spat as Emily did nothing but follow, Frank looked at Gerard and just followed him as Gerard kept yelling at them, the elevator doors opened as Gerard pushed Emily in, Frank sliding in slowly after them
“I go to your room and your fucking not there” he said, looking more worried than angry at them
“I told mikey that we were going out” said Emily, Gerard looked at her and just nodded
“ohh okay” he replied, Frank looked at Gerard
“Gee, she is with me, I will look after Emily no matter what” he said, Gerard smiled and looked at him
“yeah I know, I am sorry for blowing up, it’s just that Emily is my life right now, she was the one who made me, well me” he said, Emily looked at Gerard and burst into tears, Frank looked at Gerard who wrapped his sister in his arms as the doors opened, Mikey was standing there and looked at Emily and Gerard and then at frank
“what happened?” he said, Emily froze and wiped her tears
“nothing” she replied and walked off into her room leaving everyone speechless, Emily slammed her door shut and ran to her suitcase, she hated that everyone was “protecting her” all the time, she just wanted to be free sometimes and feel someone who protected her but not overbearing as everyone else, she finished packing the remaining stuff into her bags and walked to the door, a small knock made Emily jump as she slowly opened it
“hey” she said looking though his eyes, Frank looked a little overwhelmed as he touched her hands
“everyone knows that we are starting to go out, I told everyone” he said, Emily smiled and connected with his pleading eyes and hugged him, Frank looked down at her bags and then looked at Emily
“you were going to go?” he asked, Emily shrugged
“I don’t think I was, I just wanted some space” she replied, Frank smiled
“I am glad I caught you then, well if you still want to, the bus is leaving very very soon” he said, Emily nodded as Frank took her suitcase and her hand as they walked into his room as Gerard was laying on his bed talking to someone, Emily sat down on frank’s bed as Frank rushed around and pack, Emily picked up his skeleton gloves and tried them on
“you can wear them” he said looked at her, Emily smiled as they warmed her hands
“thanks” she replied, Gerard looked at Emily and snapped his phone shut
“what the fuck is that?” he said looking closer at Emily, Emily smiled
“a tattoo” she replied making Gerard look at frank and then back at her
“I knew you would get one soon enough” he said admiring it, Emily laughed
“yes gee the used huge needles” she said making Gerard shiver
“yeah huge needles” said frank Gerard looked at him and laughed
“I fucking hate needles” he said making Emily and Frank laugh out loud, Joe walked through the doors
“we are going now, hurry up guys” he said, Everyone stopped and rushed around the room as Emily grabbed her stuff and followed Joe to the bus, Joe smiled and grabbed her suitcase
“we have set up a bunk for you its next to Gerard’s and opposite Franks” he said as they left the elevator, Emily nodded and kept following Joe to the bus, she stepped onto the bus and smiled, photos of everyone and their families were posted on the walls, Joe helped Niomi up to the bedroom area and to the bunk she would be sleeping in, and then area she had for her clothes
Emily said thanks as Joe walked out, she looked around the bus and smiled as she saw Franks bunk, he had many photos on his roof as she laid down on his bed, she stopped when she saw a photo of Frank kissing what she thought his ex girlfriend, Emily quickly got out of the bed and walked to her clothes spot and started to organise her things as Gerard and Mikey, walked in
“cool bus hey sis” said Mikey, Emily laughed
“much better than the 12 seater you had before” she replied making Gerard laugh
“yeah but without old rusty, we wouldn’t have this” he said, Emily nodded as Frank walked in, Mikey grinned at Emily as she turned around and kept unpacking her clothes, Frank walked up beside her and gently kissed her head
“you were quick” he said smiling, Emily nodded as she kept folding clothes and placing them in the basket,
“you okay?” he whispered, Emily stopped what she was doing and turned around
“fine” she replied as she went back into folding her clothes, Frank looked at Gerard and Mikey, who got the idea and left the top floor
“okay, now tell me” he said, Emily turned around and looked at Frank, she said his frustration in his eyes
“I am just scared” she said telling the truth but keeping the finer details out of the answer
“don’t be, I am here for you, your friend and if you want more than a friend” he said, Emily smiled and lent into Frank, kissing his lips passionately as Frank pulled her closer to him, their body heat warming each other as Frank pulled Emily close to his bunk, Emily stopped dead in her tracks and broke the kiss
“I am sorry” she said running down the stairs leaving frank stunned.
