Nice start to a new story...you've got more than a few balls in the air now, don't you?
One question I had was Harry's idealized form for a woman...a concave chest is sunken in, not protruding out. Perhaps convex is better? I think so, at least.Author's response

-laughs uproarioulsy- This chapter had a great start and maintained that quality throughout. I loved the fact that Neville's being careful to advise Harry, they're obviously on very good terms as friends and, I'd reckon, as fighters. I had to snicker at the various sorting categories they used for the proposals, though that sorting must've taken a good while (he'll need quite an album for the photos :D).
I, too, would like to see the backstory developed. It seems that Dumbles managed to persuade the Weasleys and Remus into some manipulation that ended up backfiring on him, big time, and that's generated more than a little animosity and rancor, to say the least. I'd hazard a guess that the "inner circle" of the Friends of Fried Fowl, i.e. those for whom Albus' word was gospel, fell in with his plan while others, like Tonks, did not.
I really snickered when the Hat channeled Pink Floyd as a sorting song, I wonder if Harry introduced it to modern muggle music or if it had another source. Too, the prank that Harry played on the twins was masterful and I can't wait to see what else he's got laying in wait for them.
Bravo!!Author's response

Don't like it, don't read it is my motto with this story. Because:
I hate story's were Hermione wants to be with Ron. Even if it is only the sex ... because of the sex! For me to like a story, Hermione has to be a virgin before she gets on with Harry!
If you like to have sex with Ron you have to be really sick! And I like Hermione way to much, to accept a sick Hermione!
Greetings!Author's response
- Always a good policy.
- That's an awfully narrow definition of acceptable fan fiction, but if it's what floats your boat, enjoy. Of course it eliminates ALL of my fics.
- Ron, as portrayed in canon is a bit clueless, something of a jerk, and insanely jealous. In short something like most young kids the age he is portrayed. The fact that he might actually might ring Hermione's bells doesn't mean there is anything wrong with Hermione.Harry Potter and the Marriage Contracts

Interesting start... Too bad Hermione decided to go Red, and had to abandon her friend in the process. Hope she gets over herself and come back to the brilliant woman we knew and loved in the first 5 books.
I read your response to ginnytracey and had to laugh... I too have that amazing superpower, but with an added feature: the ability to instantly turn any woman I meet into a platonic friend!Author's response
- Ok, lets be clear here. Harry's problems is with the Weasleys (and what that problem is will be shown in future chapters) Ron himself has done nothing wrong. When push came to shove, he sided with his family, like most people would do. Hermione had convinced herself that she was in love with Ron because of how her body responds to him. As such, she didn't abandon Harry, she simple made the choice to follow her heart (though she is beginning to question that decision) Harry wants her to be happy, and accepted her choice, happy for her, AND for Ron.

Well, that was certainly interesting. Another Clell classic to cling to (say that five times fast). Anyway, that has got to be the greatest prank ever. George is gonna be feeling that one soon. I wonder if all those men in the pub are going to have a go. Hermione is doing what I notice a lot of women do. Tries to convince herself that the guy banging her something stupid, is the man of her dreams. Too bad, I thought she was smarter than that, although that could be the result of such a sheltered life. Harry should take the Patil contract!!!!!!!Author's response
- well they were going to try... I'm sure that Fred wasn't raped... Being capable of apparation, I'm sure he exited stage left...
- Hermione is dealing with her emotions as best she can, like everyone else. Good sex isn't to be sneezed at.
- Harry isn't going to take any contracts. Ever. Period. Which isn't to say he wouldn't become involved with any of the women who he had contracts for...Harry Potter and the Marriage Contracts

This is another really good start to one of your stories! Bit of a shame to see the Weasleys being bashed for the same thing yet again, but I have a feeling that you'll depart from the cliche with this one.
Looking forward to more.Author's response
- The Weasley bashing isn't for the same thing. I believe it is a newish or at least relatively unused way of bashing them.
