  Yeah...you seem to like putting hermione with assholes or in a bad situation. I guess that's your perogative but it is just so wrong on so many levels and i've not met any women who was as grounded as hermione fall for a guy like ron(total assole) and please don't cite canon even hardcote r/hr shippers agree JKR writes romance like a bad soap opera teenage show love somehow equates hate. Overall i'd say this story is a wash if hermione stays with ron and you do not explain the back story of the situation.

  - In my view, the canon Ron is not a 'total asshole'. He is judgemental, immature, a bit of a jerk, and jealous to a fault, but that's pretty much being a teenager.
  
  - Ignoring the horror that was DH, when push came to shove, Ron had Harry's back.
  
  - In short, from my POV, Ron is a good guy. Does he deserve Hermione? No. A woman of that quality deserves so much better than any teen male, including Harry. But the Heart wants what it wants, and the body wants what it wants. Unfortunately the heart and body don't always agree.

  I like how Harry befriended the young ones outside the platform. That is something that is pure Harry but I haven't read it just that way before.
  You've said Hermione's not under a love potion so please leave her with Ron. It would be interesting if Ron tired of her for a change leaving her alone. But then Harry would be the gallant hero and come to her aid unless there was already a future Mrs. Potter to keep him away.
  Your depiction of Luna was one of the closest to my opinion of the young lady that I've ever read.
  If you couldn't guess... I LIKE THIS STORY.

  - Yeah I thought so. It seemed to me that someone like Harry would make sure that others never had the problem with the platform that he had.
  
  - Any woman in Harry's life had best be ready for him to go to Hermione is she needs him. If not, she's in the wrong relationship.

  I hope that as smart as hermione is she'll figure out her "needs" for Ron are artificial' AKA love potion, and hope she returns to harry as his best friend or more. A'so I see 'Both' Luna and Tonks as additional loves here.
  
  I also see Molly Weasley embroiled here as well. (Harry HAS to rescue Hermione!)
  
  With all the contracts I see a few ways for all three to be a buffer for Harry here.

  - Ron is not doping Hermione. She's just making a fairly common mistake of believing physical attraction and great sex equals love.
  
  - To be clear Ron is NOT the Bad Guy in this.
  
  - Hermione does not need rescuing. She needs to grow up a little, that's all. She will, don't worry.
  
  - Molly has nothing to do with Ron and Hermione's relationship. Harry's problem with the Weasleys have nothing to do with Ron -or- Hermione.
  
  - Luna is a potential love interest, Tonks is not. She is six years older than he is. At his age, six years is a difference of an entire lifetime. When he's thirty the difference won't matter, but at 17 it matters a lot. A 17 year old (even one as together as the Harrys I write) isn't mature enough for a serious relationship with a grown woman. My apoligies to all the 17 yer olds out there, but when you're 30 you will look back at you at 17 and wonder how you managed to generate enough brain power to move your arms and legs. If it helps, at 50 you'll look back at 30 the same way.
  
  - The Contracts will be fun. All will be turned down, but some will be fun, and others will lead to new relationships.

  Ewwww, Please please. don't write anymore hermione shags ron stories. they are very disturbing, but I really can't wait to see where this goes as long as harry doesn't end up with ginnyor hermione with ron i'm sure that it will be great.

  Awesome start, Clell! I have to say, you are fast becoming one of my favorite authors. And that is in spite of my being a fairly serious Harry/Ginny shipper.
  
  I thought that the mail sorting categories were hilarious. They reminded me of Heinlein's /Stranger in a Strange Land/.
  
  And don't knock the potential maturity of a teenager as far as relationships go. My brother (aged 36) is halfway through the 3rd year of the most stable, healthy, mature relationship of his life, with a girl that he STILL cannot take out to a bar! And it is intended as a true compliment, not a wisecrack on his prior relationships. And who said anything about a 'love' interest? Tonks would make an awesome shag buddy.
  
  The Hat singing Floyd? Awesome! I'll bet the Hat would be fun to get stoned with. The stories it could tell...
  
  Unlike most of the rest of the reviewing public, I think that your Ron/Hermy dynamic is great. As smart as she is, she is still a hormonally active teen, and contrary to what the purveyors of prudishness in our society would have believed, teenage girls are just as interested in getting laid as teenage boys. (Maybe more so, as most teenage boys aren't capable of multiple orgasms.) After so many 'Ron drugged Hermione' stories (yours included), a 'Hermy boffed Red cuz she had an itch, and kept doing it cuz he scratched real good' is refreshingly normal. That does not mean, however, that I won't experience withdrawal if I can't get my 'Acts of Betrayal' fix. Soon. Twitch

  - Thank you. I've just never been able to wrap my mind around Harry/Ginny.
  
  - Heinlein is one of my inspirations.
  
  - Certainly there are mature teens. The vast majority however couldn't pour piss out of a boot with directions written on the heel.
  
  - Not just Floyd, the hat managed the instrumentation and chorus as well... (I almost had it do Money)
  
  - I recall far too many of my female friends who believed they loved utter bastards just because the clown was good in the sack.

  Its a good story and i hope you continue. It would be good for you to explain what happened to distance Potter from the Weasleys. Possibly when Harry talks to Ginny.

  Damn I had to read your story again and really pay attention to what I read this time, as for what happened between harry and everyone else I can only guess, but later on how harry was interacting with neville I would have to say that whatever happened had to be big in that harry called neville his best friend. so it would be something that harry could never completely forgive or forget. and harry could have a relationship with tonks since harry has never been a child, and now that he doesn't have the weight of the world on his shoulders he could at least have some fun with tonks even if it's a friends with benefits sort of thing and she could help him become more expierenced with women, so that he knows what he is doing later on. and as for hermione it seems that i've put her above the normal teenager in regards to hormones, but you did give us some hope when she was questioning herself about why she was with ron, when she thought that ron wasn't harry and that something is missing in that relationship. and maybe it will have to be hermione seeing that she might lose harry to one of the witches of the contracts to make her come to her senses.
