good chapter, despite the fact it is all setup except the short battle scene. Excellent thinking by the Minister - I have rarely seen a battle planned by an intelligent adult in fanfics, so this was very nice.

I normally don't review stories, but I'd just like to begin by saying that I've enjoyed this one so far.
Having said that however, I think that Harry dismisses the "vision" far too quickly. I will, of course, reserve further judgement until I read the next chapter.
On another note, it was far too obvious that Amelia was going to die, and extremely expected. This made that entire scene, to me at least, seem stale.
Please don't take this for a flame or anything like that. I'd just like to reiterate that I AM enjoying this story.Summer of Contracts

Oh dear, I'm worried about Molly's 'tricks'. Love potion time? Will Luna protect Harry from them?
Sad to see Amelia die. I wonder if Harry can learn the difference - if there is one - between 'real' and 'false' visions? One of the STUPID things in canon was how Voldemort tricked him with the false vision in book #5, completely ceased his successful and proven mental attacks in book #6, and then in book #7 allowed things to reverse so that Harry, the Boy Who Drifted, was able to bounce through most of the final novel simply by reacting to what he saw in Voldemort's mind. Pfah!Author's response
Yes, it was a proven weapon against Harry, and he dropped it. True, there could have been reasons for it (after being kicked out of Harry's mind, he could no longer stand it, or something) but JKR never gave us a reason.
Thanks for the review.

I really don't understand why these SUPPOSEDLY smart witches and wizards don't get some muggle military weapons and use those stupid Death Eaters for target practice! I doubt that even Moldiesnorts itself could put up a shield strong enough to stop a .50 caliber round! One or two sweeps of that and you don't have much to clean up! You'll basically be picking up the odd body part after the few survivors run away after shitting themselves. Even old Moldiesnorts won't look so good after being on the receiving end of one. Maybe only Harry can kill him but anybody else using Ma Duce on him and he'll be in need of a new body again soon after. Then there's always the good old stand by, napalm. Especially the stuff used during WWII and NAM. It sticks and doesn't come off easily at all. Of course if you really want them to feel the burn use White Phosphorus alone or mixed in the napalm. Remember folks, White Phosphorus burns on contact with air and keeps on burning till there is no more. Even Claymores'll work wonders on those poor misguided morons! Set up with overlapping fields of fire and very few get out alive! Things like this would put a serious dent in the Death Eater forces. But the oh so bright magicals won't even think of protecting themselves thusly. No, they'd rather sit back and complain about the moronic Death Eaters instead.
