  Wouldn't Harry have already had the phone numbers of Harry and the other girls he knew before he arrived in Hogwarts?
  Wouldn't that prefect have gotten in trouble for stunning a first year?

  You really need to read some of the stranger HP stories. As in one that I read ( quite awhile ago actually) Harry DID find a way to block the killing curse. He even taught the DA it. The trick was to transfigure a very thick Marble or Granit slab between oneself and the curse. You have a very good sense of humor going in this story and I hope you complete the story.

  Frankly I don't see why somebody doesn't just get the Dursley's arrested for child abuse! Also, investigate those supposed blood wards. Are they truly there to protect Harry or are they there to protect the Dursley's? And at the same time, keep Harry weak perhaps? I wouldn't put it past Fumblewhore to make it both protect the Dursley's and weaken Harry! The health charm that Harry's Heads of House put on him will be extremely enlightening to put it mildly!
