I so did not see the events in this chapter coming. You sure know how to spin a story and have your reader gaping at the screen, completely surprised at the turn of events. It's so interesting and I'm really intrigued, now.
You and I seem to have something in common. The name Annarien came to me after Dawn wrote that wonderful short story with Feanor and Arien. Annarien would be the child that their union would create, should I ever go down that path and make her an OFC. ;)
Wow, your description of Melian's pain, her insanity and the tragedy that is her life was so moving. You have a way with words that rivals painting when you describe both the characters and their surroundings.
I've just one little question. In this line: "Please tell me everything, Melian", said Estë, and Melian did then tell her of her rescue in the forest by Maedhros, and of their sudden and passionate union. and in the following paragraph, is it supposed to be Maedhros, not Celegorm?
