Ch. 11
The Truth
Billy tossed the gas tank to the side after pouring some gas on himself, he pulled out a matchbox and pulled a match out, “Ok… Prepare to die father.”
“You really aren’t going to do that are you Billy?”
Billy looked over, “Joel?” He turned, “Get out! I got to kill him!”
Joel smiled raising an eyebrow, “Kill him? Who’s him Billy?”
Billy sighed, “Joel! Get out!”
Joel laughed, “Are you going to kill yourself for nothing! You are… I should just let you.”
Billy watched him puzzlingly, “Joel? Rick… when we came to the house… Rick took my body over. I have to kill him…”
Joel laughed, “Billy! Are you that stupid! Do you really think I would want your body?”
Billy blinked, “What? You…” He covered his mouth, “Oh my fucking god! Rick! Get out of Joel’s body you bastard!”
Joel laughed again, “So you think that I wanted you? Are you crazy! I have nothing to do with you why would I want your body. I think Joel suits me fine.” He walked up, “You can’t kill me and you know it.”
Billy watched him, “Why! Why don’t you just fucking die and leave me the hell alone!”
Joel grabbed the matches and pulled them away, “Well, because, I want you to die.” He smiled pulling a match out, “Smart move.”
Billy watched him, “Don’t do it! Please!”
Joel put the match on the box a quickly slid it across the box lighting it, “I have to get you out of the way if I can get Stacie. She’s mine.” He held the match out, “Stacie will be taking Hilary over soon as I with Joel. And don’t worry, Benji, everyone else. They will soon be joining you.”
“Daddy!”
Billy looked over, “Mandy! What the fuck are you doing here?”
Mandy ran up and grabbed the match in her hand, her hand closed over the flame, she screamed and dropped the burnt out match. She looked at Joel and shoved him away making him slid across the floor, “Daddy! Get out!” She reached out for his hand
Billy ran up and grabbed her hand
Joel sat up, “You bitch…” He stood up and ran up and punched Billy down, “You’re going to die whether you like it or not! I can’t take you anymore Billy!”
Billy looked up at him, “Get out of Joel you asshole!”
Mandy grabbed Joel and tossed him to the side, “I’m not a little girl anymore! I can kick your ass!”
Billy grabbed her and pushed her out the door, he grabbed the box of matches and ran out the door. He looked at Joel who was getting up.
He lit a match, “Joel… I’m so sorry…” Tears came to his eyes, He tossed the match in the house
Joel looked over, “Billy!” He looked at him as the house caught on fire, “Billy!”
Billy grabbed Mandy and took off running
Mandy looked back, “Daddy! Joel is still in there! You can’t let Joel die daddy!”
Billy stopped and looked at Mandy, “Mandy…” He looked down
They heard a screeching sound from inside the house with Joel’s scream
Billy looked back, “Joel! Rick’s out of him?!” He stripped down to his boxers and took off running, “Joel!” He ran in the house, he looked around as flames started growing all over the house, window crashing and the steps falling apart. Billy looked over
Joel sat in a corner holding his head
A black figure stood over Joel
Joel looked up at Billy, “Billy!”
Billy ran up and looked at the black figure, he fell down and hugged Joel, “Come on!”
Rick gurgled angrily and scratched at Joel as if trying to go back into his body
Joel looked at Billy, “Billy, get out! He can’t get back inside my body. I don’t know why but he can’t! But go away!”
Billy shook his head, “No!” His arm got scratched, “Shit! Do that again fuck head!” He looked at Rick
Rick gurgled again and screamed
Billy held Joel close, “I wont let him get you!”
A hand landed on Billy's shoulder
Billy looked up, “No way…”
Megan stood there watching Rick. She wasn’t a black figure at all, you could see her and she looked like she was alive, her touch felt real
Billy watched her, “Megan…”
Megan looked up at Rick and reached out, she grabbed Rick’s shoulder
Rick screamed again and a white light started showing through. Rick disappeared in a bright light
Megan looked at Billy and Joel
Joel looked up at Megan his breathing slowing down
Billy held Joel close, “Megan…” He closed his eyes falling unconscious with Joel
Megan disappeared
Mandy looked at the house, “Daddy! Joel! Where are you! Get out!” She covered her mouth, “Daddy…”
People gathered around behind Mandy while the house fell apart
Mandy screamed, “Daddy!”
