Another Attack… Oh No! Billy!
Benji looked at Joel, “I’m bored…” He mumbled
Joel looked at him, “What do you wanna do?” He asked and started typing again in his laptop
Benji looked up then at him, “Walk?”
Joel looked at him and then looked down, “I really don’t wanna go for a walk.” He looked at him, “I don’t feel my best.” He looked at Billy, Chris, and Paul, “Maybe one of them will go with you?” He pointed at them and looked at Benji
Benji looked at them, “Hey yo? Which one of you want to head on a walk?” He asked
Billy looked up at him
Chris shook his head, “Nope.. sorry.”
Paul shook his head as well
Billy watched them then looked at Benji again, “I will.”
Benji stood up, “Alright. Let’s… head to the park?” He smiled
Billy nodded, “Right.” He stood up
Joel looked at Benji, “Where’s Hilary anyways?”
Benji looked at him, “I will know how and why?” He started walking
Billy watched him and tilted his head, “Hmm…”
Joel sighed, “That girl is always running off all the time… you know?” He looked at Benji, “Benj?”
Benji looked at him before walking out, “What?” He asked watching him
Joel sighed and shook his head, “Promise me you will be very careful.” He looked up at him, “K?”
Benji pointed at Billy, “I have Billy with me.” He looked at Joel, “Don’t worry about a thing. I will be fine and dandy.”
Billy walked up to Benji, “I’ll watch him Joel.” He looked at Joel, “I wont let anything happen to him.” He smiled a little, “I may be skinny, and look weak, but I’m pretty strong.” He nodded
Joel smiled and nodded, “Right. Ok. Have fun.”
Billy and Benji nodded and walked out
The park
Benji and Billy walked side by side down the trail in the park. The park was packed with trees and the sound of children playing filled the air
Benji looked at Billy, “You know there is a river and a little bridge in this park?”
Billy looked at him, “Yeah…” He looked forward
Benji blinked and shook his head, “Oh.” He looked down
Billy looked at him, “Want to head to the bridge?”
Benji looked at him, “K…” He looked down again
Billy nodded
At the bridge
Benji leaned on the bridges railing watching the water flow peacefully under the bridge, “This is relaxing you know?” He looked at Billy
Billy stood there his hands in his pockets, he watched the water with almost a glare
Benji blinked, “Billy? You ok?”
Billy closed his eyes still standing in the same way, “Did you?”
Benji blinked, “What? Did I what?”
Billy looked at him, “You know damn well what! Did you fuck with Hilary!”
Benji’s eyes went wide, “Uh…uh…” He couldn’t think of anything
Billy turned to him and tossed his arm to the side, “You did! You did, didn’t you! How could you fucking do that Benji!”
Benji backed up, “Hey, it’s not my fault! She started it!”
Billy glared at him, “Benji! I told you awhile ago my feelings for her! You knew my fucking feelings! I can’t believe you fucking did that! You are a fucking traitor!”
Benji glared and put his hand to his chest, “Don’t blame me! You didn’t move fast enough! And anyways, I think her feelings for you is like her loving a fucking toad!”
Billy’s mouth dropped and he stood there silently staring at him
Benji backed up a step watching him
Billy looked down, “That was really stupid Benji… how could she love you? I’m nice… I care for her… I do everything for her…” He shook his head, “And yet she goes for a psycho!” He looked up at him glaring again, “A person who belongs in an institute!” He screamed
Benji glared at him, “Grow up Billy! I’m sorry! It wont happen again!”
Billy stepped forward and pointed at him, “You liar!”
Benji glared, “Oh forget it!” He turned and started walking
“Get back here!” Billy walked forward
Benji turned around, “Just drop it…” He looked behind him and gasped, “Billy!” He pointed, “Look out!” He screamed
Billy blinked and looked back
Benji’s dad stood there looking down at Billy, a crazed smile went across his face with his insane eyes
Billy backed up, “Uh, Benji…”
Benji held his hand out, “Dad! Don’t!”
Billy looked back surprised, “That’s your dad!” He looked at him, “Shit!”
Benji’s dad reached slowly inside his pocket and pulled out his pocket knife
Benji turned, he looked over his shoulder at Billy while her ran, “Billy come on!” He screamed
Billy spun around and took off running after him almost loosing his balance
They started running down the trail back to the park
Benji looked at Billy, “Keep up god damn it!”
Billy looked behind him, “What’s going on!” Billy screamed tears going to his eyes, “What nightmare is this!”
Benji looked forward, “Just run!”
He heard Billy scream
Benji slid to a stop and looked back
Billy was gone
Benji’s eyes went wide, “Billy!” He backed up tears rolling down his face, “Shit! No! Billy!”
A rustle in the bushes
Benji looked over, “B…B…Billy?”
Benjis dad walked out, “Billy who?” He smiled and started towards him, blood dripped from his knife
Benji looked at the knife and covered his mouth, “Oh my god! You didn’t!” He looked up at him, “You fucking ass hole! You didn’t! You didn’t kill Billy, you bastard!” He spun around and took off running as fast as he could down the path
His dad smiled and started walking, following him
Benji ran out on the play ground screaming, “Help! Somebody help me!” He ran into someone, hard, and they toppled over. Benji sat up screaming, “Get away! Don’t kill me!”
“Benji! Benji! Calm down! What are you talking about?”
Benji had his eyes closed and he opened them, noticing that it wasn’t his father. He looked up at Hilary, “Oh my god! Hilary!” He stood up and hugged her crying, “He got him Hilary! I killed him!” He quickly began crying once he had a hold of her
Hilary blinked, “Benji? Who killed who? What?” He hugged him
Benji looked at her, “Billy!” He screamed sobbing, “He killed Billy! Billy’s dead!”
Hilary gasped and grabbed his shoulders, “Who? Who killed Billy, Benji? Who!”
Benji put his face in her neck, “My father… my father killed Billy…” He gained a little control over his actions
Hilary’s eyes went wide and she looked where he came running from in the trees, on the trial
A dark figure stood in the trees watching them, it turned and ran off
Hilary hugged Benji and started to pull him off thinking, “Oh no! Billy! No…” She fought tears, trying not to burst out crying herself, so she wouldn’t make Benji worry she wasn’t strong enough
At the hotel
Hilary kicked open the door and walked in with Benji resting his head and an arm on her shoulder
Joel looked up from his laptop and blinked, “Benji? Hilary? What happened?”
Benji wasn’t crying so hard but still tears ran down his cheeks
Joel stood up
Hilary looked at Joel after a long moment then grabbed the courage to say the words she never thought she would have to say, “Billy’s…dead…”
