!!!!!Chapter 1!!!!!
Hilary Mathers age 18 just moved into Los Angeles, California from Detroit, Michigan about two years ago when she was 16 years old. Her mother and father divorced when she was young. She didn't like the fact that she had to move so far away from home. Especially when she met William Martin, or as everybody knows him as Billy Martin. Hilary never got along with the so-called “popular” people and that was exactly what Billy was. His girlfriend Linzi or as people better know her as Liz wasn't any better. She was just as worse. Hilary didn't know that later in life that their lives would twist and change. This is where the story begins with Hilary Mathers, Billy Martin, and their friends.
(Lunch)
Hilary sat at her usual spot in the cafeteria away from the “popular” people. She never got along with them and never wants too. She doesn't want to put up with their snobbishness and bitchiness. Yes she was part of the popular group when she first moved there but stayed away from them after discovering their true side. Hilary glanced around the cafeteria and her eyes landed on Billy. She rolled her eyes as she heard somebody call her name. She looked over at the side seeing Joel Madden running up to her. Joel was one of the first people that she became friends with when she moved here. He also had a twin brother, Benjamin Madden, which people called him Benji but he never hung out with them. He was always around Billy and his 'clan'. Joel walked up taking a seat next to her placing his tray on the table, “hey Hil! What’s up? Where’s Tiffany?” he asked looking around
“She should be coming” Hilary said smiling
Joel nodded his head smiling as went back to eating his food. Hilary didn't want to eat anything really because she wasn't hungry. She was picking at her food as Tiffany ran up. Tiffany was one of her other close friends since she moved there. Tiffany was nice and sweet but she had her blond moments all the time but who doesn't right?, “hey guys!” Tiffany said running up
Joel and Hilary looked up at her, “hey!” they said together
Tiffany took a seat next to Hilary, “Hilary and Joel oh my gosh! There’s a new girl coming to school here!” she exclaimed
Joel looked at Tiffany with a smile, “really? Is it a boy or a girl? And what’s his/her name?” he asked
Tiffany smiled looking at both Joel and Hilary, “it’s a girl and her name is Savannah.”
“Awesome another girl for Billy to get his hands on” Hilary said rolling her eyes
Joel nodded his head looking at Hilary, “yeah I know what you mean Hil. Maybe we should like warn her or something”
Hilary sighed, “That’s not going to do any good. Look a what happened to me and I got warned by everybody in the whole school and I never listened...” she said looking at Joel.
“Yeah you're right. Well maybe you could tell her your story” Tiffany said smiling
“Yeah maybe” Hilary said with a smile, “we’ll see I guess...”
Tiffany and Joel both nodded their heads agreeing with Hilary. The bell rang and all three of them got up grabbing their trays and dumping the food into the trash. They all headed upstairs.
((At their lockers))
Hilary sighed grabbing her books as Tiffany and Joel did the same. She turned and looked at them, “this sucks I wish the day was over with!”
“Yeah I know what you mean Hilary” Tiffany said sighing to herself
Joel walked up putting his arms around Tiffany and Hilary, “Oh come on guys cheer up! It’s our last year! We're seniors baby!” he said smiling
“Yeah you got a point” Tiffany said looking up at Joel.
Hilary sighed to herself hugging the books against her chest “alright I guess I'll see you guys after class!” she said turning to leave as Billy walked up to her, “what do you want Billy?” she asked a little annoyed
“What’s with the hostility?” Billy asked looking at Hilary with his arms crossed
Hilary shot him a glare, “you’re hostility Billy! I don't have time to deal with you. I'm leaving” Hilary said closing her locker and walking past Billy.
“Hilary!” he yelled turning around to look at her as he grabbed her arm
Hilary pulled her arm away, “don’t fucking touch me Billy!” she screamed at him
“Hilary come on stop being unreasonable!” he said defending himself
Hilary rolled her eyes still walking, “whatever Billy I don't have time for you. See ya!” she yelled turning around, “See ya Tiff and Joel” she said as she turned around a corner
“Bye!” Tiffany and Joel yelled together
Billy looked over at Tiffany who was glaring at him, “what’s your problem?” he asked glaring back at her
“You!” she said glaring at him some more as she walked passed him
Joel forced a smile, “sorry Billy” he said running after Tiffany
Billy shrugged looking at them, “oh well” he said to himself and started walking down the hall towards his locker to get his things and headed off to class
((In Psychology Class))
Hilary walked into the room taking a seat at her desk. She looked over to her left seeing Billy walk in and took a seat by his friends. He started talking to them. Hilary rolled her eyes and fell into thought, “I’m gonna have to warn that new girl to stay away from Billy. I don't want her to have to go through what I had to... it all ended badly... man this sucks! Why did I have to move her anyways?” she asked herself as she picked up her pen off the desk.
She started drawing on her book, “I would be so much better off without Billy in my life! Being around him drives me freaking crazy! Why does he have to be so damn hot and sexy? It’s so hard to stay away from him and not fall I love with him again... stay strong Hilary stay strong” she thought to herself, “you don't need him. All you need is your mom and Kandy.” she said to herself as her thoughts got interrupted.
The teachers voice grew louder, “there’s one thing you people need to do in this class and that is to listen. Right Hilary?”
Hilary look up at her teacher, “what? Oh yeah sorry Mrs. Brinkmen.” she said dropping her pen on the desk
“Hilary please listen” she said walking away from her and up to the front of the room
Hilary sighed to herself, “sorry ma'am” she said as the teacher began her lecture. Hilary once again began dozing off thinking to herself, “this is going to be a very interesting school year.” she thought to herself as the bell rang.
She stood up grabbing her books and other things, “I really honestly think it will be very interesting” she said smiling to herself as she walked out of the classroom with the rest of the students.
((After School))
Tiffany and Joel walked up to Hilary's locker as Hilary gathered her stuff. She looked over seeing them and smiled, “hey guys! What’s up?” she asked
“Not much. Just waiting for you” Joel said smiling
“Aww” Hilary said smiling as she grabbed her backpack and handbag, “alright lets get out of her before I see Billy again” she said shutting her locker door
Tiffany nodded, “alright lets go” she said as they walked through the hall and outside to their cars.
Tiffany, Joel, and Hilary said their goodbyes as all three of them drove off different directions on their way home.
