Elementary Calculations

Whew! That was a creepy moment at the end with Harry, and I can just picture him at the institution that I work at as I've met folks like that. Snape, well, this may be a make or break moment for him here, and if he decides to pull his head out, then things may go well, ir not, then I don't think he'd make it to third year. Hermione, without Harry there to at least take a bit of the burden off her, I'd bet she's wondering now if the wizarding world was worth the trouble. I do look forward to Halloween, and if things might go close to canon, or vary differently, and what Hermione might mean to Harry if she pulls through it all right.Elementary Calculations

fascinating chapter! I really don't have anything to say other than you really have caught my interest, and I do hope that Hermione has the sense to take the help that is offered.

Woot Love It! I always hated stories where Harry has the power/knowledge to protect himself but never does.Elementary Calculations

Creepy!Harry is right!
I hate it when Harry is Snape's doormat. Great job. It's going to be fun to watch AD as he comes to realize that Harry is a bad enemy.Elementary Calculations

I think Harry has gotten Snape's attention. Now he knows just how cold-blooded Harry can be.
Accident? I don't think so!
But it looks a little too much like the bully the old Tom used to be when he was young.
I look forward to your next chapter.

-chuckle- It seems that this Harry is rather too smart and self-assured to put up with Snape's ways and is taking a comparatively easy way of making it clear to him (the hard way would've been terminal). I do hope Severus is capable of learning; otherwise I sincerely doubt he'll last too long if he keeps the quarrel up.
I do feel somewhat sorry for this Hermione, but, as near as I can tell, she brought it on herself. I do hope she can let go of her pride and realize that she needs friends where she can find them and reaches out to Harry. Mind you, if the troll incident occurs on Halloween, I'd give even odds on her survival without Harry as a housemate to spur the action. 'Twill be interesting to see what eventuates and, if she survives, she asks for a resorting.Elementary Calculations

A little creepy, but this is a more defined and adult Harry. Well done.
