Chapter Six: You Be The Anchors That Keep My Feet On The Ground… [Part One]

“Aww, that’s the cutest thing anyone has ever said to me!”
“I don’t believe that… someone must have said something sweet to you before, I mean, you’re a good looking guy, better then good looking in fact. Someone must have said something better then that before?”
“Nope. I’ve never actually, been with, someone… y’know, out with someone.”
“Really?!” I shrieked.
“Shh, it’s embarrassing.”
“Why?”
“Because I’m not exactly shy am I?” I shook my head. “Yeah, and I mean, everyone thinks I’m a man whore.” I nodded in agreement. “but I’ve never been with anyone ‘like that.’” he said, in inverted air commas. I smiled.
“So, you mean, you, the confident, Frank Iero, has never had a boyfriend.”
“I haven’t.” I covered my mouth to suppress a laugh but obviously, Frank noticed. He hit me playfully. “Don’t laugh at me! There’s nothing wrong with being a virgin!”
“You’re a virgin as well?!”
“Duh… I said I’ve never been with anyone…”
“Ha, yeah.” I said, calming down. “Sorry.” I grinned slightly.
“It’s okay,” he said, pushing me playfully. “So, what do you wanna do?”
“I don’t know… what do you wanna do?” he shrugged.
“I asked you first!”
“You wanna go for coffee?” I suggested.
“Yeah, sure… I- err, don’t have any money…”
“Don’t worry, I have some,”
We started walking back towards the band stand when Frank took my hand in his. I smiled at him and he smiled back.
“Ohhhhh!” shrieked Bert when he saw us. “Ohhhhhhhhhh!”
“Shut up, Bert!” I shouted at him.
“Ohh- what? No.” he replied. I put my middle finger up at him as we walked past him, he blew a kiss in return. I shook my head and laughed to myself. I left Frank lead me to Café Nero. I told him to sit down while I got two coffees. When I went back to the table and put the coffees down, Frank smiled at me. His smile was, gorgeous. It was a smile that was genuine. You could tell from his eyes. His beautiful eyes. I blushed and sat down next to him.
