"Gerard.. Anna said softly. Without thinking she got up and put her arms round his shoulders. He sobbed harder.
"Shh..Gee.." She whispered stroking his hair. His head rested against her shoulder as he tried to calm down. After a while he seemed to have stopped crying and turned to face her.
"Anna please, I've been so stupid I know I have. But please take me back? I promise I will try to do everything I can to be good to you. I will Anna. I will never hurt you again.. Please?" He begged looking her straight in the eyes. His hazel eyes were full of hope. But Anna couldn't get rid of the image in her mind of him and Brody together. Her own eyes filled with tears
"Gerard..I can't. I'm sorry but I just can't" She replied softly. His eyes looked hurt and she could tell he had ben counting on a different answer.
"Why?" He whispered out dryly brushing his hair back with a shaky hand.
"You know why Gee" Anna said sadly. Then she silently got up and walked out on him again.
