Katlyn flopped angrily down on the couch, she wasnt too bothered about her iPod it was the fact Gerard had been nasty with her. She and him had always gotten along like brother and sister minus the arguing part and it hurt her to think he was angry at her. Instead of sulking she decided to go and see if he was okay. Alicia was still sitting at the table even after the others had left, she was thinking how ironic the situation was. Her and Mikey had been talking only a few weeks ago about children and having kids and had decided none of them were ready for a baby and now she finds out she is pregnant, and to top it all off her best friend cant have kids. Then it came to her, she could let Jamia and Frank adopt the baby. She rushed off to tell Mikey everything. Bob, Ray and Christa were in the practice area talking about Jamia and Christa was warning them of what to expect when they went to see her "Now I know one of you will probably not mean to, but I guarantee one of you boy's will say something stupid so be prepared to get your head bitten off by either one of them. There both going to be emotionally drained so try not to ask too many questions" they both nodded knowing what it was like to be in the firing zone of hormonal women. "Im glad you both understand" Christa said she kissed Bob on the cheek and Ray, which turned into a make out session "Oh thanks for the warning guys" said Bob as he left the room with his eyes covered, he went to find Katlyn. Lyn-Z had stepped off the bus to have a smoke, all this stress was getting to her and she wanted to be with Gerard but when she tried to get near him he bit her head off so she decided to stay out of the way. Alicia had found Mikey and took him to the very back of the bus to tell him the news. She pulled him into the room and he got the wrong idea and started kissing her, his hands all over her body. She giggled but knew she needed to stay focused so she pushed him away, he pouted at her but she shook her head "Mikey this is serious, I need to tell you something" he sat down and pulled her into his lap, "Speak away my lady" she readied herself for his reaction. "Okay well, the thing is..Im pregnant" he just stared at her. "But dont worry, I had the greatest idea, we can let Frank and Jamia adopt the baby!" she grinned, thinking her plan was the greatest thing on earth. Mikey shook his head and put out his hands "Give away our baby?! Are you crazy?" Alicia didnt understand, "But we said the other week that we werent ready for a baby Mikey" he nodded "Yeah but now all this stuff with Cassie has happened it made me realise, I should snap up any chance I get of being happy, especially with the women I love" he smiled pulling her in for a kiss but she refused;
"Mikey I dont want this baby, Im not ready"
"But we cant just make a baby then give it away, especially to our friends"
"Why not? They cant have one, we dont want one everybody wins"
"But Alicia, I do want a baby"
"Well I dont"
"You know what? Fine, do whatever the fuck you want but dont ask me to help when it all goes to shit" he shouted and pushed her off his lap and stormed out of the room. Mikey was never the one to get angry but he never thought something like this would happen. How could he sit back and watch his child being brought up by someone else, right in front of him and what happens when the kid started to grow, how would they explain why he looked more like 'Uncle Mikey' than his 'dad' Frank?
Back in the bedroom Katlyn went over to Gerards bunk and pulled back the curtain and to her shock found him holding a small vodka bottle. "Gee, dont!" she shocked him and he dropped the bottle on his bed sheet. "Fuck" he said trying to wipe it away. Katlyn climbed into the bunk with him and sat opposite him crossing her legs and her arms. She just stared at him while he tried to mop up the alcohol. He looked up and saw her looking at him "What? I didnt drink it so dont go all loopy on me" he said. "Why are you so angry all of a sudden?" she asked him ignoring the sharpness in his previous tone, which softened "I dont know, its ever since this Cassie business I just cant seem to get over what she has done to our friends" he said running his hands through his hair. Katlyn didnt say anything but just pulled him into a hug "It's okay Gerard, were all here for you, like we always have been" she whispered. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her, lifting her out of the bunk and running into the living room with her. She was happy with his sudden change of mood and he jumped on top of her and started tickling her. She was laughing and hitting him "Gee stop! I cant breathe" she spluttered. He stopped and got off her, slumping down beside her. She lay down with her head on his lap and he ruffled her hair "Im sorry Kay and I will buy you a new iPod" he said. She looked up at him and smiled "Hell yes you will" and she poked her tounge out at him.
Alicia went to look for Mikey and found him next to his bunk kicking the wall beside him. "I havent changed my mind but I just came in here to tell you not to tell the rest of them about this until we have sorted it okay?" she said to him even though her was facing away from her. He was about to agree but then he turned around to face her "You know what Alicia. No. Im sick of you making all the decisions so I will tell who I want when I want." and he walked into the living room where everyone else was sitting. "Excuse me people, I have an announcment to make" Alicia came in and tugged at his arm "Mikey dont you fucking dare" she said with a hint of pleading. He shoved her off him "Alicia is pregnant with my child" he said, which was soon followed by cheers and as the guys got up to hug him he took a step back and put out his hands "Oh no, thats not all" they looked confused as they sat back down. "She" he said pointing at Alicia, "Doesnt want to keep the baby" they didnt know what to say especially when Mikey carried on still. He chuckled to himself "You know the best part? I'll tell you. She wants to have the baby and give it to none other than Frank and Jamia. So she expects me to 'plant a seed' as they say then for her to go through 9 months of stress and pain just to give away the end result. Then I have to watch my kid being brought up by one of my best friends" he took a breath after that long sentence, and carried on with the sarcasm "Thanks for the early birthday present baby" he said to Alicia as he walked out of the room, leaving them all speechless.
