Katie had long gone to sleep, over worked from trying to track down Frank's thoughts after Mikey called. While I was up, waiting for the call that Frankie was safe, I went into my room to play my guitar. I don't know why, but everything that's been happening lately made me miss Ryan more than ever. I began to strum the melody of the song he had written for me only a week before the accident. It had been our two-year anniversary.

As I hit the last note, a lone tear fell from my eye. God, I missed him so fucking much. Suddenly, I felt a hand cover my mouth and felt myself pressed up against a body. The other arm wrapped securely around my waist. Before I had time to react, the shadowy figure spoke, "Shh...Meggie. It's only me."

"Ryan?!" I muffled through his hand.

He spun me around and sure enough, there he was, looking as amazing as ever. Holy shit. This isn't possible. "I t-thought you were dead!" I gasped as he released his hand from my mouth and wrapped it around my waist, pulling me closer to him, "This isn't possible."

I began to sob uncontrollably from happiness as I wrapped my arms around him and nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck. Our bodies melted together perfectly just as they always had. "Shh..." he whispered as I felt his lips brush gently against my ear. "It really is me...but Meggie, sweetie, I really had killed myself cause I couldn't stand seeing you like that....it's just that Meggie, I-I..."

I looked up at him and our lips were only inches apart. "What's wrong Ryry? You know you can tell me anything. I'll love you no matter what."

"I'm a vampire."
