I woke the next afternoon my head was pounding I looked up to see Ryan sitting on the edge of my bed looking pretty pissed.
"Ry" I said
"What the hell where on last night" he said
"E" I said
"Do remember last night at all" he asked
"No" I said
"You fucken up big time" he said
"Ryan it didn't come out about us did it" I said putting my head his lap he rubbed my head.
"NO" he said coldly
"Ryan baby whats wrong you know I wouldn't make it if I lost you" I said
"Rory I understand being a bitch to Brendon he hurt you really bad but the poor guy has been trying to tell you he is still in love with you, and he wants you back back and you and I both know how much you deny it you are still love with him"
"So Ryan what does that have to do with the price of tea in china and by the way did you forget you" I said
"No I didn't and we are not talking about me but just so you know you have lost him for good"
"Ryan they are just word I can fix words" I said in tears
"You really don't remember do you"
"No" I cried
"Rory you tried to kill Leslie and then Brendon told you to stop being a bitch and you socked him square in the nose knocking him on his ass" Ryan said
"Wow" I said kind of proud of myself
"Okay I was even shocked and know it must have felt good to get alot of the anger out" Ryan said
"I guess it did but Ryan what am I going to do"
"Right now you are going to kiss me and I will fix this I hate seeing you pain"
"Your just what the doctor ordered" I said
Ryan and I did our little thing we where laying in bed.
"Ry I hate who I have become" I said
"Is that why you always get so wasted at parties" he said
"It numbs the pain" I said
"Rory" Ryan said pulling my head on bare chest.
"I not promising anything but I will try to fix this between you and Brendon as much as I wish I was him I am happy with what we have. I kissed Ryan. He got up and got dressed and we where walking downstairs and out the door about to kiss when, Brendon saw us.
"Ryan" Brendon yelled
"Hey Bren" Ryan said like it was nothing
Brendon marched his way over to my house.
"What the hell are you doing here with her"
"Talking"
"Damn Bren" I said looking at his face.
"Nice what your stupid little fist can do in a drunk rage huh" he said
"Bren I am sorry" I said
"I believe that" he said
"Bren shut the hell up for a second and listen" Ryan said
"Can we go inside" I said seeing Dukes car in the driveway.
"Yeah fine" Brendon said
We walked inside and sat on the couch.
"Bren I really am sorry I don't even remember last night" I said
"You don't" Brendon said
"No Bren I don't the last thing I remember is Duke giving that damn promise ring and taking off yours. I felt like I couldn't breathe so went and drank like six beers in a row the waking up today and Ryan sitting on the edge of my bed looking pissed" I said
"Wait you still wear my ring" he said
"Are you dumb or deaf" I said
"Rory" Ryan snapped
"Sorry yeah Brendon I never take it off." I said getting up to get to find where Duke had put it and put it back on I moved the ring Duke gave me to the other hand
"I am so confused" Brendon said
"Confused about what" I said
"Why was Ryan here and why are you still wearing the ring I gave you." he said
"I am here because Rory and I are still friends" Ryan said
"So you too are like secret friends" Brendon said
"I guess" I said
"So that still doesn't explain the ring" Brendon said
"I don't know I like it" I said
"Rory do remember that chruch we found up at Mt.Charleston" Brendon asked
"Yeah" I said My cell phone started ring.
"Hold that thought" I said and walked into the kitchen
"Hey Champ" Duke said
"Hey Duke" I said
"So a bunch of us where going out to the lake are you feeling up to going" he said I looked at Brendon and Ryan.
"No I am really tired but come over when you get home" I said
"Now I am sad I wanted to spend time with my girlfriend" Duke whined
"Fine all meet you guys out later I want to take a nap first" I said
"Okay baby I love you"
"Me too" and shut my phone.
"Duke" Brendon said
"Yeah let me guess you have 5 minutes than you have to go so you can avoid this conversation" Brendon said
"No I told him I would meet him out there in a couple of hours" I said
"Oh I just put my foot in my mouth" Brendon said
"You are good at doing that" I said
"So do you remember the chruch" Brendon said
"Yeah why"
"That was one of the best days of my life Rory we where so happy" Brendon said
"Bren I am really sorry about your face I guess I finally just snapped" I said
"Forgivin" he said
"Thanks Brendon"
"Rory what happened to us" Brendon said
"Your parents and Leslie than Duke" I said
"Rory you have changed alot I never thought I would see you being a cheerleader must less drunk every weekend." Brendon said
"Drinking numbs the pain" I said which caused Ryan and Brendon to look at each other.
"Its not just a weekend thing is it." Ryan said
"Started that way" I said
"Look at me" I said standing up
I had on a tube top and pair of short shorts, and a pair of wedges.
"Damn Rory you think those shorts could be any shorter" Brendon said
"I guess they could be" I said
Brendon stood up and put his hand on my ass.
"Damn I see why guys like these short and you do have a cute ass" He said
"Brendon get your hands off me" I said
"Question Ryan is me or is Rory gotten hotter if that was possible" Brendon said
"I guess I never look at her that way" Ryan said
Causing me to laugh.
"What is so funny Rory" Brendon said
"The way we are all acting like none of this ever happened" I said
"It is nice" Ryan said
"That it is" I said
"We are only missing one thing" Brendon said
"Whats that" Ryan said
"Rory sitting on my lap and kissing me" He said
"You only can dream now Urie" I said taking pill and drink of water.
"Rors what was that" Ryan asked
"Birthcontrol" I said
"Wait you and Duke it with out condoms you wouldn't me near you with out one on" Brendon said
"No I make him wear them" I said
"What Leslie doesn't make you wear them" I said
"No more like his hand" Ryan said
"Damn" I said
"I am fine with it" He said
"Brendon do you remember your 16th birthday present" I said
"Thats what gets me through this dry spell" he said
Ryan and I both fell over laughing
I got up and looked at the time
"I have to go" I said
"Call him and tell him you are puking and can't make it and we will have a movie night like we used" Brendon said
"Brendon don't you have to hang out Leslie" I said
"Yeah but I'd blow her off for you" He said
"Ry" I said
"I actully have a date tonight" He said
My eyes got huge
"Well I guess I am going out to the lake" I said
"Yeah and I guess I should check on Leslie" Brendon said
He hugged me before walking out the door.
"Ryan you coming" Brendon said
"I have to talk to Rory alone so I'll caught up with you tomorrow" he said
Bye Bren" I said
"Bye Rors" he said and closed the door
"A date" I said
"Yeah Rors its not like I am going to not have a girlfriend."
"So having a girlfriend is going to end this whatever you want to call it"
"Rory you could marry Brendon and I would still be with you" he said
He kissed me hard on the lips and walked out the door.
I got dressed and went out to the lake.
