Oh, that bitch. I woud kill her, I would save Gerard and then......we'd run off into the night?? No way,get real. My fantasies were lost in the moment of Gerard actually waking up. In a savage movement, the evil without a name slid a dagger from out of her boot- which I hadn't noticed yet.

Kissing the blade, she picked up my arm and spoke to me. For the first time.

Before I could react, she slid the dagger across my arm. Not once, but thrice. She held out the goblet and filled it with the beautiful crimson that was my life. I had never imagined something so beautiful ever coming out of me, a thought that was probably saved up for motherhood. She raised the glass to Gerard's lips.
"Drink honey, drink. You need it"
The room spun off in a haze of black, and went out of focus.
