Skyler awoke the next morning at a little after noon. This was normal, considering that she was up until about 2 a.m. last night. Then she remembered everything that happened last night.
“No way.” She whispered to herself. She couldn’t believe that she had spent almost all of last night with Patrick Stump. This of course just made her wonder why he was spending most of his night with her as well.
Skyler got out of bed and stretched her arms out, then got into the shower. As she let the warm water splash on her body, she couldn’t help but think about last night and how amazing it was. Then she remembered that she had lost her bag. Her bag that had her phone, zune, money, and everything else in it.
“Great.” She mumbled to herself.
After rinsing the shampoo and soap off of her body, she got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her body and another around her hair. Then she opened the bathroom door to her room and went to her closet and saw the mess of clothes all over the place. She must have forgotten that she did, in fact have trouble finding a perfect outfit last night.
Skyler looked at the mess of clothes on her floor and decided that she would be just fine in a pair of sweat pants and a big comfy tee shirt. She got dressed and after that didn’t really feel like doing much of anything. She didn’t even blow-dry her hair, instead she just threw it all up in a very messy bun.
She decided she would turn on her laptop and check her e-mail. She moved over from on top of her bed to her desk and turned on her laptop. She thought about what to do for a minute and then unplugged it from the charger and went to lie on her bed again.
As soon as she sat down, she heard the door bell ring. She decided that she would go see who it was. She went downstairs and peeped through the peep hole on the door. She was very surprised to see who it was and very happy too, now she had proof last night was no dream.
She opened the door to a smiling Patrick. “Hey,” Skyler said, then she noticed that he had her bag in his hands. “Patrick! You found my bag!” She practically screamed. “Thank you so much for bringing it back.” She smiled.
“Sure no problem, I figured you would want it back.” He said.
“Yeah, defiantly.” Her smile grew even bigger, “Do you want to come in?”
“No, well, I mean yes, but we’re leaving today.” Patrick explained.
“Oh, okay. So maybe I’ll see you again soon then?” Skyler asked, hopeful.
“Yeah, defiantly.” Patrick said with a growing smile on his face.
Then something unexpected happened. Patrick too the few steps forward that were separating them and pulled her into a hug. Skyler also put her arms around him. They stayed like that for awhile, just holding each other in their arms.
Then they separated and looked into each other’s eyes. Their faces were getting closer and closer by the millisecond. It was just like one of those romantic scenes in the movies, except usually those weren’t interrupted by loud car horns.
Patrick turned around and remembered that they were waiting for him.
“I guess you have to go now.” Skyler said more than asked.
“Yeah.” Patrick said, disappointed.
“Bye.” Skyler said, wrapping Patrick into one last hug.
“Bye.” Patrick repeated squeezing Skyler tight and never wanting to let go.
Once they let go, Skyler watched as Patrick walked back to their van and waited for the van to leave before closing the door. Her heart was fluttering like a hummingbirds wings.

As Patrick sat in his spot in their van, he couldn’t help but notice Joe was staring at him. He tried to ignore him the best he could, but when there’s a set of big blue eyes staring right at you, its kind of hard to not notice, especially when a pair of hazel eyes joins in on the staring.
“What?” Patrick finally said, annoyed that Joe and Pete were staring at him like he had three heads.
“Nothing…” Pete said with a grin on his face.
“Yeah, nothing.” Joe confirmed.
Obviously there was something that they weren’t telling Patrick, otherwise they wouldn’t be staring at him like that. He decided to ignore the fact, and stared out the window at the scenery as it passed by. He was a little disappointed that he never got to kiss Skyler, but maybe it was for the best. Patrick was the kind of person to believe that everything happened for a reason, so he trusted that if it were meant to happen it would’ve happened.
Sorry for the shortness, but I didn’t think there was much else to add to this chapter. Short and sweet. I promise the next one will be longer though. Hopefully this story isn’t getting too boring, I have something planned in the future for this story to a certain point, but I have no clue what’s going to happen after that.
I didn't get any reviews this time =[
