Very good chapter, I do like it when Dumbledore is willing to at least take small steps in the right direction. He's still a bit too arrogant, but I doubt that will last.
Looking forward to more.A Fist Full of Galleons

So far I am really enjoying this story. I like that Ron is not evil, and that for the most part everyone in the Wizarding World is either lazy, or blinded by their loyalty, but that they are also not inherently evil. Since this is how I see the world, it makes a lot of sense to me.A Fist Full of Galleons

“Yippy ki yay, m. . . .”
I'd say Dumbles expects Snape will be in for a rude shock.
Oh, yah. "I'll consider it" means "No".
Enjoyed it, as usual.A Fist Full of Galleons

Hot digity Dog - Another Dr
T story, and one that uses John McClain has to be good.
seriously - the only sad part is losing Hedwig, who, along with Hermione and Luna are the only developed females in the entire canon.
I really like the negotiations from a position of strength, and am very much looking forward to where you take this.
thanks so muchA Fist Full of Galleons

Loved the chapter. Bit confusing on the instructions for the paper -- if I understood it, it takes 3 signatures, but they only had 2 because Remus refused to sign anything.
But besides that, I can see Dumbles being nervous about the violence done by the heroes in the Die Hard and Man-with-no-name movies. Yes, righting wrongs is good, but all the death....that's something Dumbles seems to not go along with.
Looking forward to more. Thanks for the story.

Meteoric: Sirus and Dumbles had to sign, but so did one of the others involved (Remus, McGonagall, or the goblins) or the Ministry. Dumbles had to go with the goblins
So far as Harry is concerned, Dumbles could have stopped Tom Riddle decades before, but chose a softer path that failed. Harry wants to avoid hurting the innocent, but won't mind if those leaning in the wrong direction get hurt, never mind the guilty
