A Fist Full of Galleons

Well, we now have canon Snape all of one year earlier. I can see how this Snape would be viewed more sympathetically, but still not terribly impressed with his array of reasoning for his actions.
I would very much like to see each of these Slytherin attackers taken down hard, maybe lose a body part for their attempts. Pansy and Draco should have her faces scarred in a way unfixable through magic, etc.
Thanks for writing,
MattA Fist Full of Galleons

Very good update. I like your take on Snape and Harry's working relationship. Most authors have them becoming buddy cops over the course of a chapter or two, but yours is both much more believable and much less nauseating.
Looking forward to more.A Fist Full of Galleons

Treck: Don't see anything wrong with the chapter #'s from my point of view. It usually takes a while for a new chapter to be added to the internal links, and there's nothing I can do to hurry it, if that's what was wrong.
matt & 'whatareyouevensaying' -- glad you noticed that Harry isn't totally buying Snape story; we should buy even less. Matt: can't get rid of Malfoy too early; that way we can stomp the ferret more than once!A Fist Full of Galleons

I guess the snake's dont realize that what Harry will do to them is they attack any of his friends is kill them...at least that is what I would do!A Fist Full of Galleons

Wow a well written alternate Snape! Also a very pragmatic yet confident Harry! Hope he can rescue the Snakes who don't wanna follow Fartface! Also Will you follow some of the Spagetti westerns in that they try to get the upper hand yet when the protagonist enters they end up cannon fodder?
Damn good story!

I think Snape almost sounds reasonable. One thing I would point out is that at this point (before the occlumency lessons), he actually had an opportunity to work productively with Harry.
I don't think Harry should trust him, though.A Fist Full of Galleons

Interesting spin Snape put on everything. Pretty sure I agree with Harry that a lot was left out or simply from Snape's point of view. Looking forward to Harry foiling the Slytherins plans as well as seeing where this is headed. Keep up the great work!
