I'm SO sorry that it’s taken me this long. I've been busy and I haven't had the time to just sit down and write out a decent chapter. But I'm back (in black) and ready for some more of Gerard, Dani, and Frank.

Dude. Seriously? All this time, you were still in Belleville? I know it's you, Dani. And I know I'm Frankie(wait...duh!) Oh, and I'm best friends with Gerard, who btw really, really likes you. But of course he's in denial, so I'm NOT telling you this. OK? But you need to cut the BS and REPLY!

Dani read Frank's email in shock. He hasn't tried to talk to me for three years. We haven't had a two-way conversation since I was twelve. But that's...that's when this hell started.
She did a double take. Gee likes me. Wait, Frank could be lying. What if he doesn't even know him? But then, how could he know-
Either way, Dani closed the email, deleted it, and slammed the computer shut nervously. Why does so much shit have to happen at once?!?

"Um...yes, Dr. Farris? He is an orthopedic doctor, right?" Dani asked, holding the phone to her ear and the card from the chipper nurse in her good hand.
"Yes, would you like to make an appointment?"
"Um, yes. What times do you have available?" Dani moved her shoulder, trying to keep the phone where she wanted it.
"What days are you able to swing by the office?" the helpful voice on the line said.
"Let me see...I could come after school on..." Dani paused, trying to think. "Tomorrow. I get out of school around 4 o'clock. And I can bring my dad's insurance card with me."
"Oh. Okay..." the secretary mumbled, surprised. "On Tuesday, the sixth, we have a five o'clock appointment open."
Dani weighed her options. "Okay, I can make that."
"Well, then we'll see you then."
"Thank you," Dani said, remembering her manners.

Issac avoided her for the rest of the weekend, a welcome change for Dani. She nervously told him about her appointment on Tuesday and he had only nodded and went back to filing papers.
I'm so lucky that he's a work-aholic, she had thought.
And on Monday morning, she dragged herself out of bed and got ready for school. Looking out the window, she noticed that Issac's car was already gone. Thank God.
She sorted through her small closet and found a black and blue striped tank top. She slid it on and took a gray hoodie off its hanger.
"Always gotta wear long sleeves," she muttered to herself bitterly.
After adding some plain gray jeans, she was able to walk over to her dresser and brush her hair. For the first time in a while, she found herself wondering if she was pretty. She had plain, medium brown, medium length brown hair, accented by pale skin. One feature she did like about herself was her pleasant brown eyes.
It's more brown, but they have those weird flecks of lighter brown in them, she thought, tilting her head to the side.
She wasn't chubby, but she definitely didn't look borderline anorexic. I just look so...plain. Maybe if I just had one...defining feature, I'd look decent.
Dani shook her head and finished her morning routine.

Gerard cornered her as soon as she stepped into the hallway, right before the bell for first period.
"Why'd you call me?" he asked from behind her; she could see his shadow towering over her.
"I don't know." Dani's voice was a monotone.
"Stop lying to me," he accused, grabbing her shoulder.
"Get your hands off me," she growled.
Shit. Whatever. No, Gerard thought. "I might if you would answer me. I asked you a simple question, and, I mean, I know we're from Jersey, but it's only common courtesy-"
Dani turned around and pushed Gerard off her, catching him off guard.
He stumbled, but caught his balance before he fell.
"Stop interrogating me! I don't need to tell you anything! I barely know you!" Dani yelled.
Gerard didn't let it faze him. "But you could if you wanted to."
Dani shrugged. "And why would I want to?"
"Because, let’s be honest here, I think we're friends by now."
Dani hesitated. "Yeah. 'Friends...'"
"Fine. Don't tell me. But your cousin misses you." Gerard smirked and changed the subject.
"I-I have no clue what you're talking about! Are you...are you stalking me or something?" She froze in place. Damn, I was hoping he didn't really know Frank.
"Yeah, you do. I think you might just know a certain guy who goes to private school. Name's Frank. Or Frankie. Iero."
Dani wasn't sure why, but she gave up. "Yes, he's my cousin. But..."
"But what?"
"Our families are kind of...tense. So I haven't been able to hang out with him for a while," Dani told Gerard, telling part of the truth.
"You think five, almost six, years is a while?" Gerard said.
"Yeah."
"Whatever."
There was silence for a minute while other students milled around them.
"Why am I still standing here?" Dani wondered aloud.
"Beats me," Gerard answered honestly.
"So..." Dani trailed off. "Uh..."
"I have some things I really need to ask you about that Frank told me. I'll see you later," Gerard mumbled.
"Uh-huh."

Frank circled the perimeter of the public school, right around lunchtime.
I need some fooooooood, he thought to himself as his stomach grumbled in protest. Maybe Gee can feed me.
Frank saw a small space between the fence surrounding Belleville High. Thank you, God, for making me so small! He squeezed into the break in the fence and exhaled in relief when he didn't get stuck. I might be a sophomore, but I'm like a freaking sixth grader!
He stayed glued to the side of the main building, ducking under windows to avoid being seen. Eventually, he ended up right outside the cafeteria, where he needed to be if this crazy plan of his was going to work.
He loosened his Catholic-school-approved, mandatory tie and let it fall to the ground. He rolled up the sleeves of his too-big dress shirt and purposefully scuffed his shoes on the concrete. All this was to try and blend in so that no one noticed he wasn't supposed to be there.
He sighed and sat down on the ground behind a tree, waiting for Gerard and Dani to come to lunch.

"I guess I'll be nice and sit with you,Geewawd," Dani announced, purposefully sounding childish on his name.
"Oh, thank the heavens!" he replied sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
After they both bought their lunch(no interferences this time), they walked over to an empty table and sat down.
Gerard scanned the cafeteria with anticipation. He was in on Frank's idea. Where the hell is he? Crap, did he get caught? Gerard wondered.
"Why, fancy seeing you two here!" a loud voice from behind them said.
Gerard turned around, hiding a smile. Dani froze and her fork fell to the tray.
"Frank?" she whispered, not wanting to look.
I just love these mean cliffhangers. But anyway. I'm glad I was able to post this tonight. I love everyone who's reviewed. You give me something to smile about. And (just saying...) I'm super close to being green on some of these other chapters. And, well, it's ecofriendly to go green! *hint hint* Alright, so I've got no more time to drone on and on in this A/N, but please, please R+R. If you don't know what those two Rs are, you have some major problems.

IMPORTANT:ANOTHER NOTE: I deleted and reposted the first two chapters, so that's why they're unrated/reviewed. Don't bother reviewing again if you did on those two, but it can't hurt to rate them. I'm sorry if you already did, it's okay if you don't bother. By the way-thank you so much for making 'Enter Frankie' green! Peace out!
