minor typo: "he was scene" -- should be "seen"
The conversation w/Neville was great improved upon by adding the section of Nev telling Harry of the prophecy.
I also think the scene with Hagrid provided some interesting possibilities... if Hagrid were to give Harry the photo album that might also go some way toward connecting Harry to this group.
The overriding question that governs those two paragraphs is where are you going with Harry? Is this _just_ going to be a rollicking adventure where Harry kicks butt, and remains basically a foreign detached martial arts magic user? Or is Harry going to go through some introspection and want to find out about his past, his culture, and consider if his current life is really what he _wants_ or just be a robot that does what he is told? To sum up: will Harry "grow" - that is the interesting question.

- A general state of illiteracy is part of my charm as a writer...
- Without the prophecy, it's not really a Harry Potter story, at least to my mind. The only question was who was going to tell him. I saw Neville as the best choice, but even as fixated as he was on Harry, Dumbledore would have at least tried to prep his emergency backup Boy Who Lived.
- I'm not sure if Hagrid will ever be able to approach Harry... Though it might be a fun scene.
- As to the future, Harry knows who he is and what he is going to do. He is at Hogwarts as part of a job. He isn't interested in connecting with his past or his birth parent's culture, he has a culture and sees no need to add to it.
- Yes, the life of an assassin is the life he wants, it was the goal he set for himself the first time he understood what his 'father' and 'brother' did for a living.
- I think perhaps it was expressed best in chapter 4
“As arrogant as your father Potter.” Snape spat.
“Not yet, but I hope to be, though it really isn’t arrogance if you can actually do it, and my father can do pretty much anything.”
“James Potter is dead.” Snape all but screamed.
“Yes he is,” Harry agreed, “but we are talking about my father.”Harry Potter and the Sun Source

This is just righteous fun! In any other context it might be seen as 'merely' a PWP, but you've captured the heart of the Destroyer series.
I am bemused by Hermione's obsession with Hard-ass Harry, but the best part was her going off on Neville because of the marriage contract. So much history between them was communicated through that scene, it was artful.
I don't think Hermione should be able to take the 37 steps, unless she's developed unusual mental control. Luna might not make it past step four just because she's "seeing" the possible results and reacting ahead of time. My money is on Tonks after some training- absolute magical body control might be the one talent to bring the mythical to pass. Glad to see another chapter.

- Thanks. I can't write smut, so I don't really try, but this story lends itself to more innuendo that most. Leaving it up to the imaginations of the readers takes care of most of the details.
- Hermione's crush on Harry is just my little manipulation of the canon 'chest monster'... Girls have crushes too... especially smart girls.
- I haven't decided if Hermione is ever going to actually approach Harry for actual physical contact. Drawing it out is funnier.
- No, Tonks is going to give it the old Auror's Academy try, but she isn't going to make it.Harry Potter and the Sun Source

Holy cow! what a great update. The development of plot and character is perfectly synced. I can't wait till Remo arrives at hogwarts. Will he be repulsed by the anti-muggle charms? or will he see right through them?
Also. Poor Hermione. Hopefully things will start to look up for her.Harry Potter and the Sun Source

A two hour orgasm, and Pansy's still alive...made of some strong stuff that girl is.
Hmm, something tells me that the Malfoy line is about to end, several Death Eaters and some trolls are going to die, and Dumbledore is going to need a new Defense Professor.Harry Potter and the Sun Source

I absolutely love this story! Funny, smart and love the frustration Harry feels about his sexual training. It just makes me laugh when I think that Hermione is going deal with way more than she could handle. Then again, she'll probably be the one that can handle all 37 steps...
I'm looking forward to the next chapter.Author's response
- Actually, I haven't decided if she and Harry will actually hook up.Harry Potter and the Sun Source

Quite pleased to see this continuing. I'm a Destroyer fan from back when they first came out. Like you said earlier Harry is taking it easy. If you had him running just at Remo's level he'd have cleaned thier clocks before they even had a chance to blink.
Interesting reasoning for not offing Draco.
His not offing some of the DE's in an attempt to have Moldishorts come out to play is logicial though considering her current condition I doubt she want's to be seen in public. Maybe he can off her by getting to the 23rd step.
This story is a truly fun read. I'm looking forward to the next chapter where in I suspect that Sniviless may get to hear as his final words 'that's three'.
Great story!
Author's response
- Yeah, a balance between the Destroyer levels of carnage and HP cultural sensibilities is a hard one to maintain.
- Real reason: I want him to walk in on Harry 'consoling' the Widow Malfoy...
- As per both Destroyer and HP Canon, the meeting between Riddle and Harry will be the penultimate scene.
- Harry isn't going to kill Snape.Harry Potter and the Sun Source
