  Oh, poor Layla.. Cutting helps, at first, but after you do it, and the ugle redness starts to stick, you feel stupid and you hate yourself, and that hatred leads to more cutting, and more self hate. I went down that road for three years, and I never want to go back. Ever.
  
  I sure hope Layla gets better soon. But if I think about it...it's going to be a long road for her. Hope you write more when you get back!

  I know, I tried it once and it helped but I couldn't let myself to do it more than once, I was ashamed afterwards and thankfully I found writing as an alternative. I'm sorry you had been through that.
  
  Layla is just and confused. Doesn't really know how to defend herself since she's been tended for all her life. Now she's on her own and it's taking so much out of her for her to gain back her life and live it the way she's supposed to. Hopefull Frank will keep her on track.

  I swear I reviewed this story. I definitely read the first three chapters at once and knew I reviewed it, but it might have been that ficwad didn't post it.
  
  
  Poor Layla the poor thing has so many addictions. At least she's away from Daniel,and getting off the drugs. I hope Frank realizes what she is doing to herself.
  
  I was so glad when she wrote Ray the letter and telling him how she really felt. It was good for her to get things out.
  
  I love everything you write. I'm really hooked and so look forward to getting up on Saturday morning knowing that you've updated on your stories.
  
  Again have a great time in Vegas, and remember what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!! (unless you feel like sharing)

  Layla definitely needs to find time for herself and learn that her ways are not doing and justice, she's only hurting herself even more.
  
  Ray is pretty much her only way of expressing her outward feelings, cause she's ahsamed to tell Frank, when he actually could be her only help.
