Brendon and Andy locked eyes, both gazes intense as they watched one another, waiting for one to make the first move, their bodies tense as they refused to break eye contact. It was Brendon who came at Andy first, holding one of Andy’s swords as he made the first swing, the sword in Andy’s hands, coming into contact with the one being held by Brendon as he blocked what could have been a life-ending blow. Brendon’s black eyes and bared fangs aroused Andy’s curiosity at how far he could push Brendon. He pushed him back and kicked his legs out from under him, and when Brendon landed on his back, Andy brought his sword down, once again coming in contact with the one in Brendon’s hands as the vampire defended himself.

Brendon kicked Andy away and leapt to his feet before their dance began, their bodies moving over the mat-covered floor as each male tried to draw blood on the other. Brendon had made the mistake of not feeding before he came over, a bad fight with Ryan had made him lose his appetite until he saw Andy, and smelled the blood that pumped through his veins. The smell was heightened now as the blood pumped faster while they moved together, both fighting to keep from having blood drawn.

Seeing Brendon’s upper torso without a shirt as the muscles moved beneath his skin as he moved was almost enough to distract Andy as he barely avoided getting his arm sliced. He dodged the oncoming blow as Brendon took another swing, slicing through the air as he missed Andy, a grin on his face as he watched Andy’s muscles in his arms and chest, fighting back a groan when the first trickle of sweat went down the ink-covered flesh.

As they both swung at the same time, their swords once again came together, the blades straining against one another as Brendon and Andy continued to apply pressure, both wanting to win this fight. Brendon caught himself allowing his eyes to dart to Andy’s lips before he returned his gaze to Andy’s, grinning when he saw the brief moment of confusion.

Andy was the one to break the hold as he moved back, away from it, only to have Brendon follow suit, their swords coming together over and over again before they came to a halt, both swords aimed at the other. Their eyes met over the touching sword tips and Andy fought back a swell of physical arousal when he saw Brendon had begun to sweat, the small drops trailing down his slightly-paled skin.

Brendon’s eyes remained black as he fought to control his hunger when Andy’s pulse began raising faster. “I hate to, but we should stop soon,” he growled softly, his nostrils flaring slightly as he inhaled more of the scent. “I need to feed, and I’m sure you don’t want to become the meal.”

“Come on, baby, a little bit longer and our session will be up anyway,” Andy replied, his voice taunting as he emphasized the pet name.

Brendon went at him, kicking his legs out from under him before he pinned him, his elbows digging into the flesh of Andy’s arms to hold them down as he held the sword against Andy’s throat, his own heart pounding hard and fast in his chest. “Dead.”

Both males stared at each other, their soft panting breaths meeting in the space between their faces as neither one relented to tearing their eyes away from one another. Brendon’s gaze landed on Andy’s lips once more in time for the human to run his tongue across his lips, before he shifted his gaze back to Andy’s eyes.

A moment later both swords were discarded and their arms were wrapping around one another, their lips crashing in a heated kiss as they both surrendered to what hey had been trying to deny, even to themselves. Andy’s fingers tangled into Brendon’s hair as he pulled his head closer, their tongue meeting in his mouth, both of them fighting for dominance in the passionate kiss. Brendon’s fingers delved into the soft tresses of Andy’s long hair, a soft moan escaping into the kiss as he took in the taste of the mouth that had been calling to him since he had started training with him.

Andy nipped at Brendon’s lower lip when the tongue withdrew from his mouth, pulling a groan from the other male as he turned them over, thankful Brendon had let him do so. As Brendon’s legs wrapped around his waist, pulling him closer, their kiss deepened once more and Andy slid his hand up along Brendon’s chest, marveling at how soft the vampire’s indestructible skin actually felt beneath his touch.

When Andy’s mouth left his, only to move down his jaw line, Brendon moaned and turned his head, granting Andy access to his neck, moaning when the soft lips and cold metal lip ring, pressed to his skin in a trail of kisses. The trail led down his neck, to his chest, where teeth grazed over his flesh, his back arching slightly beneath the human.

Andy’s tongue darted out, tasting the smooth skin before his teeth gently clamped down on Brendon’s nipple, drawing another moan from the vampire as the fingers in his hair turned to a fist, gently tugging. He brought his mouth back up, crushing Brendon’s lips with his own with a bruising force as Brendon turned them over and broke the kiss, looking down at him, his breath coming in short, soft pants.

“What are we doing?” Brendon questioned, his eyes showing his confusion.

Andy stared up at Brendon, his eyes slightly hazed over from his lust. “I have no idea,” he replied as he ran his fingers through Brendon’s hair, pleasantly surprised when Brendon slightly leaned into the touch, a small smile gracing his lips. “Is it a bad thing?”

“I… I don’t know,” Brendon answered as he found himself wishing to kiss those lips once more. “I’ve been trying to ignore that for a few days now…”

“You and I both…” Andy sighed as Brendon leaned down and pressed a soft, more gentle, kiss to his lips, their lips lingering for a moment before Brendon stood and pulled Andy to his feet. “I didn’t even notice it coming from you.”

“I’ve been hiding it as good as I can, but I guarantee you, Deacon’s noticed,” Brendon said as he retrieved the two swords from where they had been discarded. “He’s been trying to make sure I can’t help but think of it, but he’s won, he’ll be happy to know.”

“I have to admit, I’m happy he won this one…” Andy said as he moved closer to Brendon, his eyes looking at the vampire from over the tops of his glasses. “I’ve been trying to get up the courage to talk to you about maybe giving an us a try…”

“You hunt my kind, and here you are wanting to date one,” Brendon mused as he moved closer to Andy, their hands brushing as their arms found their way around one another, their foreheads coming to rest together. “Now that’s irony…”

“Shut up before I change my mind,” Andy said before he captured Brendon’s lips once more.

[Author's Note: Only reason I'm posting this a day early is because there is a very good chance I won't be able to get online tomorrow and I don't want to piss any updates on this =) In other news, I'm pretty fucking pissed, because my car insurance shot up to 1 hundred bucks a month because of a bullshit ticket, with 4 errors. 1) I DID NOT RUN THE FUCKING RED LIGHT! 2) According to the cop, I "Rand Traffic Signal/Turning Right" 3) He wrote the wrong fine on it 4) He put the wrong kind of signal down so it shot me up to 4 points instead of 3 points on my liscense. Seriously, I'm pissed, and I can't get a fucking break lately.]
