We stared at each other’s reflection for a moment and smiled. My head was swimming with happiness. I never thought this could happen to me. I had found something so rare in this boy wrapped around me. Frank kissed my neck gently and released himself from me. My heart instantly sank as I felt the gap. He reached for the door with one hand attempting to keep the towel at his hips.
“Where are you going?”

“To raid your closet. Unless you want your parents to see me running around naked.”

“Good point. That would definitely raise some questions.”

“Mhmm. Now, to the closet!” He raised a declaratory hand and finger and marched out of the room. Laughing, I followed him out.
Frank stormed into the room with a comedic determination. He found my closet.

“Just pick whatever; I have more stuff in my dresser.”

“Well whatever I do pick I’ll be going commando. Just warning you.” He said laughing as he shuffled through my closet.
“What?!” I asked while putting on a pair of pajamas.

“No clean boxers with me, you big dummy.” He was so serious but I couldn’t help but laugh, it was like a five year old’s insult.

“Oh shut up, Gee.”

“Sorry, but you just called me a big dummy. I haven’t been called anything like that since kindergarten. I think that’s funny. So no, I won’t shut up.” I contested. He pulled on a pair of pajamas as well and turned around.

“Is that so?” Frank asked raising an eyebrow.

“Yeah, it is.” I stepped closer to him.

“I think not.” He pushed my shoulder with one finger.

“Well, I think yes.” I did the same.

“Shut your mouth, or I’ll shut it for you.”

“No.”

“Okay then, you asked for it.”

In ten seconds flat, he pushed me on my bed, straddling me with my shoulders pinned. I fought for control, laughing. We rolled around wrestling and laughing. When we tired we collapsed onto the mattress, into each other’s arms. I laughed.

“I’m still not shutting my mouth.”

Frank closed his lips on mine and bit my lower lip. My breath hitched and I pulled him closer. Wrestling must have turned him on because I could already feel him, hard as steel. He continued his kiss to my neck. I closed my eyes to relish the feeling.

“Oh my god. What the fuck, dude?!” My eyes shot open to Mikey’s words. Frank instantly jumped off me.

“What’s going on?”

“Mikes, we can explain!” Frank plead.

“Then start fucking explaining cause I don’t know what the hell is going on here. Are you guys together?”

I took a deep breath and decided to step up to the plate.

“Yes, Mikey. We are.”

“Oh my god. So you’re—And he’s—What the fuck—How long?!”

“This is new to me too, Mikey.”

“It sure as hell didn’t look new, you looked like you were taking it like a pro underneath him.” Mikey started pacing back ad forth repeating the phrase “Oh, god.” Over and over.

“It’s not like that. I came onto him Mikes.”

“Yeah, I could see that with the way you were on top of him Iero.”

“Look, Mikey. It’s not as bad as it seems.”

“Not as bad as it seems?! Not as bad as it seems?! I just came home to find one of my best friends on top of my brother! Not to mention, he’s gay now!”

“So what if I am Mikey? Is that a problem for you?”

“ I—I—don’t—No, no it’s not I guess.”

“We understand this is super scary, but its just not scary for you you know.”

“What are you going to tell mom and dad, Gee?”

“I don’t know. I’ll think of something.” I took a nervous breath, I was shaking.

“God, guys could you at least put on a shirt or something?”
Frankie rose and reached for a couple band tees and threw one my way.

“Thank you.”

“Please don’t tell your parents and I’m still your best buddy, okay?”

“Fine. But you two owe me.”

“Of course.” I said relieved.

“Okay, now, if you’ll excuse me. I have to go Mr.Clean my brain for about an hour.” Mikey said turning for the stairs. We couldn’t help but giggle.

“Shut up!” he shouted from the stairs. We still laughed.

“Wow, that was close.” I said looking at him.

“Yeah, and I noticed something.”

“What’s that?” I started to flip through a comic book.

“You stood up for us. You said we were together. I didn’t expect you to do that.”

“Well we are together, aren’t we?”

“Yes. I think its safe to say that. It still took me by surprise you know.”
I looked up from my comic book and to his face. I smiled at his adorably puzzled face.

“Well, I guess when you really love someone, it makes you fearless.” Frankie beamed at my words.

“Come here, you big dummy.” He sounded on the verge of tears.

“What? No, Frankie. Don’t cry.” I held him closely, but gently.

“I told you you were a big dummy. They’re happy tears.”

“Oh, well maybe I am then.” I loosened my grip on him to look him in the eyes. Tears still continued to roll down his beautiful cheeks. I kissed them away one by one and kissed his forehead. He then placed his lips to mine.

“Aw hell, not again!” Mikey was standing in the doorway.

“Sorry, Mikes.”

“God, it’s okay. But can you at least warn me or something?”

“You’re the one who didn’t knock.” I said laughing.

“Well, sorry. Before, I never had to worry about walking in on gay love or butt sex.” Frank and I burst into laughter.

“It’s not funny!”

“Oh yes it is, did you just hear yourself?” Frank said.

“Yeah, but still! It’s not fucking funny!”

“Okay, okay. It’s not funny. So what did you come down here to tell me?”

“I got some new horror flicks from Grama. We can watch them later.”

“Sweet! Can we watch them now, Gee? Please?” Frankie was so cute.

“Yeah, sure, of course. I’ll make some popcorn or something.”

“Fine. Just no full fledged love in front of me, okay? I’m not used to it yet.”

“Sure, Mikes. Last one upstairs is an extinct dinosaur!” Frankie was off like a bullet. Mikey and I ran behind him.

Running through the house, I realized just how lucky I really was.
