Chapter 17- Dear Rockstars- I have quickly rushed this chapter because I feel terrible that I haven't updated sooner. I love you all.

By morning Eva’s heart was tangled but she was woken up early by a rap at the door. After a quick glance in the mirror she ran hopefully to the door wanting to open it and see Mr. Way standing there. Rather, she found Liza at the door.

“Hey!” she said. “Can I come in?”

“Sure!” said Eva. She noticed there was a large bouquet of flowers in her hand.

“Oh, a delivery man was coming up the stairs so I signed for them,” said Liza waiting for Eva to explain. Eva let out a large smile, took the flowers off Liza and noticed there was nothing written on the card other than an ‘X’.

“Who are they from?” questioned Liza taking her jacket off and putting it on the lounge. “The card says nothing.”

“Probably from my Mum,” said Eva lying.

“Probably,” said Liza. “My Dad just dropped me off, I hope you don’t mind.”

“Not at all,” said Eva wishing she would leave. “Sorry I’m still in my pyjamas.” Liza just shrugged.

Eva went into the kitchen and prepared them both breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs and toast. She really couldn’t be bothered putting much effort due to the internal loathing she felt for Liza at this present time. Her presence was just making it harder for her to hate her because Liza was trying so hard to be nice and Eva was one to forgive.

They spoke normally for about 2 hours- or as normal as they could speak until Liza’s Dad honked outside signalling for her to come home.

Eva continued the rest of the day thinking about Mr. Way, her future as a rock star and then Mr. Way a bit more and by the time she noticed the day had passed. She had gone the weekend without browsing the net for Gerard Way because she felt as if that man meant nothing compared to the one at school.

By next morning Eva felt a tumultuous feeling in her stomach. She had realised that school meant having to face reality. She caught the bus with Liza and walked into school and for a brief moment forgot about Mr. Way. It wasn’t until roll call when Nick reminded her pointlessly that they had Legal Studies.

“You look different,” Nick commented making the rest of the roll class turn around and look in disbelief.

“I haven’t done anything,” she said.

“No, it’s your mood or something- like something’s changed,” he said suspiciously before realising that the rest of the class was looking. He immediately had to protect his reputation and mumbled something about her being a freak which made a few people snicker.

Walking to Legal Studies was possibly the most daunting experience, wondering what mood he was in. Whatever mood he was in, she was ready for- they were alike in that way. When she walked in to the classroom Mr. Way did not look at her but rather seemed distant and irritated. Eva’s heart took another leap of regret thinking that once again this was another rollercoaster of a drama coming on.

“Sit down now,” said Mr. Way to the class angrily. People were shocked since Mr. Way was the most remarkable teacher they had had and possibly the calmest. People sat in their chairs and Eva felt anger rising in her stomach. She knew it had to do with her.

“Today we are just going to be working from this textbook in silence,” he said setting the page numbers on the board and then letting everyone continue their work in confusion.

Half way through the lesson Mr. Way stopped the class.

“I have received payment for the excursion coming up from about half of you, a reminder you must pay before tomorrow.” he said. Eva shuddered knowing that she hadn’t paid due to her mother’s absence in America.

“This is the list of people who have paid,” he continued. Eva listened bordely until her name was surprisingly read out. He paused after reading her name and still looking down at the paper in his hand added:“The office ladies told me to tell you that your mother rang up this morning to pay.” Mr. Way did not look at her and it annoyed Eva, but she was glad to hear her mother had paid.

She quickly snuck a look at her phone and noticed a text from her mother saying that she had paid for her school fees and the upcoming excursion and to have fun because she deserved it. Eva could tell from the text that her mother was in a good mood.

When the lesson had finished Eva got up to get out of her seat deciding that if he didn’t want to talk she wouldn’t force him, but she was shocked when Mr. Way opened his mouth.

“Eva, can you please stay behind?” he asked. Eva nodded, but did not show any sign of excitement.

When the rest of the class had left Mr. Way closed the door, a feat that occured so much Eva was sued to it. He stood at the door not coming any further.

“I want to say sorry for taking advantage of you on Saturday,” he said assertively. “It was inappropriate, and I hope that you will keep it a secret. It must never happen again.”

Eva just glared once again, and eventually shook her head in a sarcastic manner of disbelief and annoyingly walked for the door. She stopped right in his face which caused him to look slightly worried.

“You know,” said Eva. “You are a complete jerk sometimes. I totally expected this off you. If this is what you want then I’m not stopping you, but know after I walk out that door and this is how the conversation ends, I will never allow you to play me around again.” She was assertive and smart in her tone and just as she was about to reach the handle Mr. Way stopped her once again. He didn’t say anything but rather looked her in the eyes urgently.

“Do you enjoy controlling the situation?” asked Eva sarcastically but viciously.

“Trust me Eva, it’s very hard to control you,” he said.

“Well, let me leave then,” she said.

“I can’t,” he said.

“What, are you going to pull out a knife and stab me so I don’t tell a fly?” she said evilly.

“That’s pathetic,” he said. “So mature.”

“That’s what you get when you play with children,” said Eva.

“Fine, leave,” he said.

“Move then,” she said trying to get through.

“I am doing this because I care,” he said.

“It shows,” said Eva sarcastically still trying to get through.

Mr. Way reached for the door handle, but rather than turning the handle he locked the door. Eva looked up at him incredulously into his eyes and he pushed her forward taking her lips into his. Eva dropped her bag and folder on the floor and swung her arms around him. He lifted her up so that her legs wrapped around his hips. She was pressing herself into his body and he had to stop the sensational feeling he was getting so he put her on the desk. His lips parted some more, his tongue getting further into her mouth. Eva pulled away for a second and looked into his affectionate but desperate eyes.

“Why do you always have to play this game?” she asked.

“Because I can’t tell the difference between reality and fantasy,” he whispered moving his head down onto her face and rubbing his nose against hers. The words touched Eva’s heart because it was the feeling she knew so well and one she understood.

She moved up to try and touch his lips again but he pulled away and got up. He helped her get up off the desk and Eva looked confused. He could see it on her beautiful face and hated having to do this to her but once again reality had kicked in.

“I should go,” said Eva understanding.

This time it was he who watched her walk out.

Breathlessly Eva left the room and noticed that the break had finished and walked to the next class. By lunch Eva decided to visit Liza in the art room for the point of acting normal, but when she got there the only person in the room was Mr. Way. He looked up.

“Oh,” said Eva awkwardly. “I was wondering if Liza was in here.”

“She went home sick,” he said just as awkwardly.

“Ok,” said Eva. “See you.” She walked out when Mr. Way called her back.

“Do you wanna hang?” he said initiating the first move. “It’s an extended lunch and I was just going to go through the storeroom.” Eva looked at him let out a small smile them quickly covered it up.

“You don’t mind?” she asked.

“Why would I mind?” he answered. Eva walked in and dropped her bag on the nearest desk.

She walked around the room admiring the different types of art. Mr. Way stood at the front of the room behind the desk watching her and a wave of admiration and attraction washed over him. Eva eventually made her way to the front of the room where she faced Mr. Way.

“So,” she said not looking him in the eye. ‘Do you want me to help you go through the storeroom.” She was very genuine in her question and it made Mr. Way laugh.

“Sure,” he smiled showing that wonderful crooked smile of his.

They entered the storeroom which was filled with almost every colour paint and different types of paper. She had been in here before, but it felt as if this time it was more exciting than any other time.

Gerard went through many different types of supplies explaining with such passion to Eva what each thing was used for. Eva was sincerely interested and loved the passion on his face. She also loved how his eyes seemed to ask for approval at every statement.

They had eventually retired on the floor separating jumbled papers into each colour and they spoke about things no one else would understand.

“You talk about aliens a lot,” said Gerard.

“I love aliens, yet I’m honestly scared of them. How ironic,” she said.

Eva loved the look in his eye at that moment because it made her feel as if she was the most wonderful person on earth and it made her less fearful about what she was about to do. She stood up and he watched her. She took a step until she was standing over him and she sat herself on his lap so that her body was facing his and her legs were almost wrapped around him. He did not move even slightly. He was scared but also curious and edging her to explore further. She looked into his eyes and she leant her head in and kissed his cheek. She looked at him again and his expression remained the same. This time she kissed his cheek again but further apart from the last place she kissed him. She kept kissing him until she was close to the edge of his lips. It was at this point that he let out a little smile and quickly filled his face with passion. He grabbed her lower back and pushed her towards his face so that their lips met. She could feel her panties rubbing gently on his pants, but she kept her tempting delight a secret, rather concentrating on his full lips that were overlapping hers. Eva was getting so excited she moved her hands underneath his shirt again touching his firm body. Gerard slightly whimpered and pushed Eva off him.

To Gerard the reasoning made sense. Eva was not the type of girl to ever rush into things and when she touched him she didn’t want things to go further or know what they would do to him. She also didn't realise that he could have gone further and that he had to control himself. Eva was so naive and he was so adult which was the reason why he kept playing her around. He felt guilty dreaming about the things he did.

“I’m sorry,” said Eva panicking and getting off.

“No,” he said desperately. He pulled her arm gently signalling for her to come down. She did not sit on his lap but leant beside him. “I’m going to pick you up tonight at six. You are coming to my house for dinner.”

Eva nodded just as the bell rang. They did not kiss as she left because it meant that there was a mystery for the next time they were too see each other.

By the time six had arrived Eva had frantically checked in the mirror at least fifteen times. She had decided for a beautiful black dress her mother had bought her for winter and she left her hair out. When the knock at the door came Eva answered and Gerard couldn’t help but feel his heart leap. She was going to send him wild with her beauty alone he thought.

Eva smiled and Gerard commented on how wonderful she looked. Eva blushed and let out a stupid little laugh which made Gerard smile at her weird nature.

“I made you a cake,” said Eva handing him a lovely decorated and scrumptious looking mud cake. “It’s only simple... but anyway.”

Gerard took it gratefully and wanted to kiss her right there and then but stopped himself.

They hopped in his car after she had locked up and began driving to a place that Eva had never seen before. They drove further away from her house to a place where there were millions of trees. It was far from where she lived but at the same time it seemed so far away. They eventually came to a clearing where a long driveway was situated. Gerard’s car slowed as he drove onto it and Eva could eventually notice a large and picturesque house set in a landscape so indescribable it made her want to cry. The house was Victorian in architecture and was surrounded by lovely bush land and shrubbery fit for a lonesome artist.

“Your house looks amazing,” she said in awe. He did not say anything. As the car stopped Eva got out with the help of Gerard and he nervously walked her to what looked like a heavy front door. When she walked in she could feel an enormous warmth and a wonderful smell coming from the right. The ceilings were not high like she expected but rather hid the house making it seem like a magnificent maze.

“I’m not going to lie,” he said taking her coat. “I didn’t cook this. I ordered from this really nice Italian restaurant. It’s not as good as your cooking, but still.”

“I will love it no matter what,” said Eva blushing. She was brought into a living room with a fire lit up and food set on a small table. The room looked so comfortable and exquisite she hugged him and quickly let go.
“Oh my!" she said happily. “This is so awesome! You didn’t have to do this!”

Gerard blushed and then commented on having an interior designer pick every aspect of his house except his art room. They sat down and Eva was so excited about the prospect her eyes were lit up the whole time they were eating.

When they had finished Eva helped him carry the dishes into the kitchen much to Gerard’s protest and then excused herself to use the bathroom which was “three doors down the hallway to the right.”

She tidied herself up and walked out to find him standing around awkwardly. When he saw her his eyes lit up.

“Do you want to watch a DVD?” he asked. Eva nodded politely. They ended up picking some science fiction movie and watching keenly. When the movie had finished Gerard turned to Eva and opened his mouth to say something but closed it again. He opened it again and this time he spoke.

“I bought you this thing...” he said getting up and reaching for a thin rectangular shaped object in a brown paper bag. Eva was lost for words. “It’s lame, but I thought of you when I saw it.”

Eva took the object out of his hand anxiously, thankful of his kindness and noticed it felt like some sort of book. She took it out of her bag and saw the book was titled “Alien conspiracies- The Truth REVEALED.” Eva laughed as she flicked through the book in wonder. He was looking at her nervously and Eva eventually put the book down and moved towards him testing the waters on whether it was alright to kiss him. Fortunately, Gerard pushed her down and positioned himself to lay on top of her and kissing her lips. This time however Gerard started to lose some self control and was kissing so hard it was sending Eva and himself in frenzy.

He slid his hands down her smooth, long legs and lifted his lips off so he could slip her heels off while at the same time he slid his shoes off. He adjusted himself so he could lay on her better and noticed her cleavage was more evident in this outfit. The other times they had kissed she had been in a large jumper or her school uniform and although she was just as beautiful those times, this dress was more seductive.

He moved his lips rapidly around her lips and Eva’s hands began to wonder up his back, digging her nails slightly into his flesh. It was at this notion that Gerard began to colour outside of the lines. His lips moved to her cheek and eventually reached Eva’s ears where Gerard nibbled slightly on them and moved down the side of her neck making Eva let out a small sigh. Gerard was about to head towards the break in her cleavage but stopped himself and went up towards her lips again. Eva tried to free her legs and when she did she wrapped them around Gerard which forced him to get into the position they were in the art storeroom earlier that day.

Eva continued kissing him and eventually Gerard wrapped his arms around her and pushed her back down lying on the sofa. They were lying on their side and facing each other wrapped in each other’s arms. He kissed her forehead and they lay there until Eva couldn't keep her eyes closed and feel asleep. He watched her for a while, and finally fell asleep himself, forgetting to take her home.
