I has been a week now since I saw Ray, I haven’t had any texts or phone calls. Frank has been at his Uncle’s for the week. It’s been quiet, I was feeling lonely. I kept to drawing and reading to past the time.
I was sitting in my room, playing iron maiden. There was a knock on the door.
“Come in,” I said. It was Mikey.
“Hey, haven’t you heard off Frank yet?” he asked as he came over and sat down on the bed.
“No, do you think his avoiding me?” I asked.
“No, of course not, he probably hasn’t got the time,” he answered.
He was probably right, he was always right.
