Back at Titans Tower...

Beast Boy heaved a huge sigh as Cyborg flew past him. They were racing each other in yet another video game. Little conversation was passed between the two, other than the occasional grunt. Raven looked up from her book annoyedly as she heard the two idiot boys on the couch begin to bicker. She rolled her eyes and continued reading. Starfire sat by the window, knees pulled to her chest as she gazed at the sun. It was bright and cheerful- the exact opposite of how she felt. She missed Robin. His positivity, advice, and companionship had always filled her with glee. Now he was gone. The tower just felt so empty without him. She sighed, feeling loneliness swell up inside of her heart. She was jerked from her thoughts when the alarm went off. They immediately dropped everything and ran for the garage. Starfire trailed behind them slowly, her thoughts of Robin all but forgotten.

Cinderblock broke through the bank vault with an ear-splitting crash. Inside were dozens of Gold bars, just waiting to be taken. Before he could grab his sixth bar, a sonic cannon blasted him. Cinderblock turned to face the titans.

"You won't be needing any of that where you're going." Cyborg quipped putting away his sonic cannon. Cinderblock's eyes narrowed, and he bellowed.

"Titans, go!" Cyborg commanded, pulling out his cannon and immediately began blasting. Starfire began firing her starbolts like made, trying not to think of Cyborg saying Robin's signature phrase- she felt a sharp pang of pain when she thought of his absence. When the smoke from the blasts cleared, cinderblock remained standing. He let out an angry cry and charged. Suddenly, he was slammed into the wall by a bus. Raven's hands glowed a dark black as she held the bus. Beast Boy charged at the Rock-man in the form of a triceratops, but was swatted away as if he were a fly by a large, stony hand. He was thrust headfirst into the wall with a force so strong it was dizzying. He waited a moment, and tried to collect himself. Then, with a strengthified resolve, he charged.

The titans returned home half an hour later, completely wiped out. This battle had taken twice as long as usual. And, although they kept silent, they all knew why. Robin was gone. He was the lynchpin that held the titans together through the best and the worst of times. Although Cyborg was a good leader, he was no Robin. At that moment all the titans shared identical thoughts:

They couldn't wait for Robin to come home.
