ELLY'S POV

when the detectives came by the house i told them everything that had happened and how i found the cell phones. and they told me how

when they searched his house they found the knife used to stab beth in his bedroom. and they also found the gun he apparently had shot

bert with from what the detectives told us. After finding all the evidence they needed they decided to prosecute. When the story leaked out

to the press the media went crazy. They started showing up at our house following us around wanting to know what i thought about his

conviction. The court date was coming up and I was really nervous about it, i didnt want to see trace at all, but Mikey was so pissed that

Trace had played all of us that he wanted to go and talk to him about everything.

"why do you wanna go and talk to him for mikes"
"because elles we trusted him he was welcomed into our family circle with opened arms and we trusted him with you"
"mikes we just gotta let it go okay the system is gonna take care of him now"
"no fuck that how could he have planned this all out the whole bert thing why, why would he work with him after he saw what he did to

you" he said.

"i dont know mikes i just dont know and thats why i cant go and talk to him with you so if you want to go you'll have to go by yourself." i

sighed sitting back against my chair.

"well im gonna do it im gonna go now and see if i can see him at all today" he said getting up.
"alright mikes" i said as getting up and i walked him to the door.
"tell frank im sorry for everything with trace ya" i nodded and gave me a hug and left. I closed the door locking it and i went upstairs to

our bedroom and frankie was laying in bed watching tv.

"did he leave already" he asked as i walked around and got onto the bed with him.
"ya hes gone, hes going to see trace"
"why, what is the fucking point he did it, what more does mikey want to know"
"he wants to know why"
"love we all know why he made it clear in all those messages he sent and what he tried to do you in that car accident and then at his house

what more does mikey need to see to show him that trace is dangerous" i just shrugged shaking my head not knowing what to say to him.

"love come here" he said pulling me into his arms.
"im sorry for scaring you that day at his house, but i had to do it you and sunshine are my everything and i will kill anybody to protect my

family trace got lucky that day cause i knew if i would have done it i would lose you and her and i just need you to be able to face

everything so we can put it behind us and we can finally be happy, and raise our daugter without any fear"

"im trying frankie but something inside is telling me that this isnt over i dont know why but i just have this really strong negative feeling"
"what do you mean love"
"i dont know maybe its just nothing maybe im just scared and nervous about having to see trace in court" i sighed.
"you dont have to be scared or nervous im gonna be there " he whispered kissing my forehead. but i couldnt shake off the weird feeling i

was having. i laid there in his arms watching a movie and i looked up at him and saw that he was asleep. I got up slowly putting on my

shoes and I knew what i had to do I had to confront Trace. I got all of sunshines things ready and I left stopping at Alicia's so should could

watch sunshine. As soon as i did that I called Mikey but he didnt answer so i figured he was already inside. I pulled up to the pricint and I

got off walking inside. I took a deep breath and i walked up to one of the windows.

"can I help you" the lady behind the small window asked.
"um my brother came earlier to see Trace Cyrus I was wondering if there was anyway i could go in with him"
"and your name is"
"Elly Iero" I said as she quickly looked up at me.
"Mam I dont know if we can do that you are the victim I.."
"I know but i want to and if you just let me talk to detective Benson i know we can straighten this out" I said cutting her off.
"okay just have a seat and Ill get him for you" she smiled getting up.
"thankyou" I replied as i walked over to the little chairs and sat down. I felt like I was sitting out here forever when I heard the door click

open I looked up and I saw Detective Benson walk out.

"Mrs Iero I understand you want to see Mr. Cyrus" He said sitting next to me.
"ya I need some closure to and I just feel like if I can just understand why maybe the day of the trial I can be a little more at ease, please

detective i really need to do this."
"Mrs Iero normally we dont really recommned that the victim themselves come in such close contact with the accused are you sure this is

what you wanna do" he asked and I nodded.
"okay well your brother is in there already so ill take you to the visitation room there in in" he said
"thankyou" I replied as we got and we made our way to the room. The whole way over there i felt like was literally faint but i knew i had to

know why after everything why he had taken it that far. We got to the front of the door and Detective Benson looked down at me and I

nodded and he opened the door and we walked in and Mikey turned around I looked over at Trace and he had his down looking down at

the floor.
"Elles what are you doing here" as soon as Trace heard my name and he quickly looked up at me. As soon as his eyes met mine all my fears

came back to me.

Mikeys Pov

I had to see what was going on with Trace, after all the things i had for him he completely screwed us all. When I got to the jail they let me

they told me i could only see him for 10 minutes. I was sitting waiting for them to bring him in. and i felt my phone vibrate. I looked down

at it and i had a missed call from elly I was gonna call her back when the detective came in.

'Mr way are you ready" he asked and I nodded and they took me to one of the visitation rooms and I waited a couple of minutes and they

finally brought him in. Once he sat down he didnt look up at me at all.

"I'm not here because I believe you anything you have said, I'm here because you told me and assured that you would never hurt my sister

in anyway I believed everything you said to me that day at the hospital and now look at where were at trace how could you have looked me

in the face and fuckin lie to me" I said and he just shook his head still not looking up at me.

"I didnt lie Mikey" he whispered. I just shook my head in disbelief not believing he had just said that to me.
"you didnt lie to me are fucking kidding me, you tried to rape her you fuckin beat the shit out of her you have had it out for her sense day

one and you didnt lie to me" I practically yelled.

"i didnt lie, i dont know what happened that day, but i had nothing to do with everything else that has to do with beth and bert, i never

sent anyone any messages and I never hurt elly before that i love her you have to believe me that day i dont know what happened to me i

would never do that intenionally you know that" he said

"no i dont know that, they found everything in your house man, it was you all along I was the one who was there with you when everyone

had there doubts about you, god you had all this planned out sense day one, how could you have been with her and hurt her all at the

same time man " I sighed shaking my head. I was about to say something else when we heard the door open I turned around and I saw Elly

standing there with detective Benson.

"Elles what are you doing here" I asked as she came in.
"I had to come Mikey I had to find out why for myself" she whispered grabbing the chair and setting a little further from the table. I scooted

back with her and I looked back at Trace and he was finally looking up. but not at me but at her. I felt her grab my hand squeezing

tightly.

"ellyyou came" he replied smiling.
"I didnt come to visit you to comfort you I came for myself I need to know why, why me Trace" she whispered shaking her head and i saw the

tears streaming down her cheeks.
"ellyplease i didnt i swear I promise you" he said putting his cuffed hands on the table trying to reach out to her. and she just shook her

head and i just hugged her tightly.

"elles maybe you should go you shouldnt be here" I whispered and she shook her head leaning back up.


ELLY'S POV

I looked up at Mikey and I wiped my face. I knew i had to stay i just wanted to know everything.

"I need you to tell me why, Trace why I was with you for a year and half of my life, I loved you we were suppose to get married and i feel sick

inside because all this you were after me sense the begining you and bert worked together to get to me, The day on the bus you and bert

had that all planned out didnt you you left me on the bus knowing what he was gonna do to me, how could you let him do what he did to

me, how could you have been out there knowing what was going on in that bus you could have stopped it and you didnt, but i bet the one

thing you didnt plan was that he took it one step further huh, and thats the only reason why you were so worried at the hospital thinking i

was gonna die. you fuckin liar "

"I didnt work with him I swear to god i didnt do anything with him, and I didnt kill beth, how could think i had something to do with

what happened to you on that bus that day, Im not that evil, Elly i didnt do any of that"

"they have everything you used so dont lie to me anymore, you attacking me is one thing but you came at my daughter you attacked me

when i was pregant with her, what did you think that if i lost my child i would run off and get back with you and start a new life what the

hell were you thinking when you ran me off the road not even for my child would you have left me alone could you,"

"Elly I didnt that i was there cause i saw you leave ur house in a panick when i saw the accident i freaked i pulled you out, if i was out to

get you why would i have saved you, i love you and sabbie" he replied.

"dont you ever say my daughters name ever again do you hear me, i let you hold her that day at the hospital, i tell her your one of her

uncles you played us all for far to long, so if u wanna keep spinning your lies go ahead but im done ill see you at the trial trace' i said

getting up.

"elly no wait please" he said getting up and i stepped back as the officer grabbed him.
"please you know i didnt do it, you know elly please dont leave me here please"
"you put yourself in here you hurt all of us now you have to pay for what you did" I said grabbing my purse and I walked out quickly out to

the front and sat on one of the benches trying to catch my breath.

"elles are you okay" I looked up and I saw Mikey standing in front of me.
"ya Mikes im okay" I smiled looking up at him.
"I think its gonna be eaiser for me to be at the trial" I said getting up.
"I'm proud of you elles"
"thanks mikes" I replied giving him a hug.
"I gotta head back home I didnt even tell Frankie i was coming here"
"you didnt tell him elles" i just shook my head.
"did you leave bunny with him"
"no I left her with Alicia" I smiled.
"well hes probably going crazy right now have you checked your phone"
"shit' I muttered taking my phone out and i noticed i had all kinds of missed calls from him.
"well your right about that one i better go then"
"hey look go ahead and leave bunny with me alicia ill pick her up gerard wanted to see her today anyways, you and frank just talk calmly

and ill call you when im taking bunny home okay"
"okay thanks mikey" i smiled giving him a hug and i took off. i pulled into the house and I got off going inside and I heard the tv on in

the living room and i walked in to see frankie sitting on the recliner watching tv.
