Chapters: Drabble, 17/?
Pairing: Van Helsing/Dracula, somehow
POV: Gabriel´s feelings during the Masquerade Ball
Disclaimer: Nothing in this drabble is mine, except maybe the tiny plot-line I made up. This fiction was written only for entertainment purposes, no money is being made.
Deep within me, I struggled against the boundaries that Dracula has set upon me. But all attempts to break free ended fruitless. I couldn´t seem to regain power over my own body and actions.
This fact let naked fear creep up my spine in just that moment, when Dracula invaded my mind with his newest instructions. His plan was furtive and cruel, as I had expected.

He continued to mock me with a slight bow and a hissed "Thank you, Gabriel."
Then, mercilessly tightening his grip on my nerves that held the responsibility for my actions, he forced me to walk forward and right into the darkness that was the Palace.
"How about attracting some attention, Gabriel?," he covered his mental command with a honey-sweet voice.
When I refused to raise my own voice, an angry hissing sound caused my head to burn with pain.
"I hate it when I have to repeat myself. But I quite enjoy it to inflict pain upon my...toys.
Now, if you kindly would use your 'lovely' voice to call out for the girl?! Otherwise, I will have to show you what a real headache can feel like..."
As to give a sample, a sudden paralysing pain began to spread in my head and caused my eyes to see white and red flashes instead of a normal vision. I wanted to go down on my knees and curl up to make the pain bearable, but the monster didn´t allow me to leave my standing position.
Again, I felt anger and fear well up about Dracula´s ability to have control over me wholly.
Hastily, I began to call out for Anna. First being raspy and not sounding like my own voice at all, I soon raised it and repeatedly called the Princess´ name...
