Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and I really couldn't take it anymore. I had to do something. I needed to let Gerard know how I feel and let him decide what we are going to do because if I kept going like this I was going to go insane. I made up my mind and texted Gerard asking if I could talk to him alone. He replied to meet him at the park in ten. I was starting to get nervous about what could happen. What if he rejected me? I don't think I could take that type of rejection.
I walked over to the park and made sure I looked my best. When I arrived I saw him sitting on a bench next to a tree. I walked over and took a couple of breaths before I greeted him.
" Hey." I said.
" Hi."
" So... I... um"
" You wanted to talk." He helped me.
" Yeah.. so.. See i don't know how to say this, but well... I like you." I whispered.
" Wait what?" Gerard said in shock.
" I like you." I said a little louder. He stayed quite for a while.
" Please say something." i begged.
" I just... I.. Why?" he asked.
" Why what?" I asked not understanding what he was asking.
" Why now?" He asked.
" I don't know. I-"
" I mean why not when I gave you chances to get together?" He asked " Why not-" I cut him off. I kissed him. I couldn't contain myself. I kissed him with so much passion I thought that I would explode. It took him a second but he finally gave in and kissed me back. What I have been waiting for finally happened. We pulled away to catch our breaths. He smiled and I winked.
" Whoa." Was all he said.
" I am so sorry I didn't mean for this to happen, but you needed to know. " I didn't regret kissing him I just know that he has a girl friend. I have a boy friend, but after this I don't think that I could lie to Georgio.
" So what do we do now?"
" I think..."
