(Gloria’s P.O.V)
I was just waking up as mom was getting our suitcases out of the car “shh be quiet as you take the cases in because the kids are asleep in the car” I heard my mom whisper to someone “ok I’ll help ya get them in when we’ve taken the cases in and so will Addie won’t you dear?” I heard my dad’s voice and I silently chuckled when he made the rhetorical question towards Adrianne in some ways she was technically a step mom but seen as I still have my real mom she is just Addie or Adrianne to me I heard the front door open and close I closed my eyes knowing that they were coming to get us outta the car “Billie can you carry Gloria in because she gets cranky when gets woken up after sleeping for a certain amount of time in any sort of vehicle and Addie could you just gently shake Maria awake when you do make sure you introduce yourself straight away because she will lash out if she feels threatened kinda like a animal and I’ll take care of Chris because he is really difficult to wake up though it’s dead easy for Gloria because she just jumps on him and pours water on him until he wakes up it’s really funny” my mom explained then all of a sudden I heard the car door on Chris’ side open (I sat in the middle and right now I was wrapped in Chris’ arms while he slept and I was now pretending to sleep and Maria’s head was on my shoulder what a really weird way for siblings to fall asleep tehe) then door on Maria’s side was opened and I heard Addie’s voice sweetly and gently talking to Maria getting her to wake up then “huh what’s going on?” Maria said “it’s ok Maria I’m Adrianne your dad’s wife your in Oakland in your mom’s Volvo” she chuckled at the last part “hey Adrianne” Maria said and felt the weight of Maria’s head lift of my shoulder so I acted like any fast asleep person would when something changed about how they fell asleep fall towards the thing that moved so I let my body take over and it shifted slightly until my head hit the leather seat and I groaned slightly and then did nothing then I heard someone hushing me and cooing to me and gently singing sometimes “c’mon Glor let’s get you inside” I heard my dad’s voice say then I felt his arms one hooking under the backs of my knees and the other under my back and he gently lifted me out of the car and pulled me into him and I let my head loll to the side until it hit his chest I heard him chuckle and it shook me and I decided that that should have been enough to wake me normally “huh...what the?” I said coming out of a ‘sleep induced daze’ “hey hun it’s me your dad you ok or just a bit tired?” he asked kindly I just groaned as I was still sort of sleepy my dad chuckled again then all we heard was “Chris for heavens sake wake the hell up” my mom screamed but knowing Chris that won’t wake him up so I jumped out of my dad’s arms “dad can you get me a bucket of ice cold water and a towel please” I said and walked towards the car “stand aside mom I’ll get him up” then all I heard was Chris groan “oh no” I chuckled and then I saw my dad jogging towards the car with the water and towel “dad gently pick Chris up and hold him a sec while me and mom set the towel on the lawn, ok” I said and my dad nodded quietly talking to Chris and scooping him up like he did with me and then when me and my mom had put the towel on the lawn I signalled for my dad to put Chris lying flat on the towel then I picked up the water and flung it on him then dropped the bucket on his head and started jumping up and down on him “wake the fuck up Christian you fat lazy shit” I screamed hitting the metal bucket that was on top of his head my mom and dad pissing themselves laughing at me,
I was suddenly flung backwards by Chris sitting upright “I’m up for fuck sake Gloria jeez” I giggled “well you weren’t about 5 seconds ago tehe” I giggled and started running for my life “Argh there’s a crazy Billie Joe Armstrong look a like running after me helpppppppp” I screamed my mom and dad continued to piss themselves but by this time Addie and Maria had come out to see what the hold up was and obviously came out quicker when they heard me scream as I was screaming I ran into Maria by accident when I was looking back to see where Chris was “argh shit Maria I think you just broke my nose you fucking bitch Gah!” I shouted and carried on to mutter profanities as my dad guided me into the house whilst I held my nose to stem the bleed “are you ok Gloria?” he chuckled as I carried on muttering profanities under my breath as I looked up at him “uh kinda sorta ok I don’t fucking know all I know is that that donkey dick sucking bitch broke my mother fucking nose, see I’m fucking dripping with blood” I said Adrianne looking at me shocked because I was only 15 and I knew more ways to swear than a 60year old sailor,
“yeah I swear when I fucking bleed so what my fuckwit of a sister fucking caused it” I shouted my aforementioned sister put her hand on my shoulder “I’m really sorry Gloria let me see your nose” I moved my hand away and she winced “fuck I’m really sorry” I turned to my dad and Adrianne and they winced as well I pressed a finger to one side of my nose wincing then to the other side still wincing then realised that my nose was crooked and snapped it back in place crack, crack “mother fucker that hurt oh well at least I won’t have a disfigured nose” I chuckled “is that my 15 year old half sister i hear swearing Jesus fucking Christ I’m 13 and I’m not aloud to swear and my dad swears in nearly all of his songs and on stage it’s not fucking fair” I laughed as Joey came downstairs “Joey watch your language young man” Adrianne scolded him I could tell I wasn’t gonna like her much if she carried on like this “trust me Addie by the time the twins leave your kids will be using swear words in every other sentence if not every other word” my mom warned her and me and Chris just looked at each other smirking
“hey Gloria you wanna play rock band?” Joey asked smiling “fuck yes what ones have you got, lil bro?” I smirked and Adrianne smiled that I was getting used to having two more brothers already and I hadn’t even been in the house five minutes but grimaced as I swore again “Green day obviously and Lego and I have some guitar hero’s as well I’ve got guitar hero 3, 4,5 and the Beatles and ‘talica which one do ya wanna play?” he chuckled “wow that’s the same as me you lil legend” I said ruffling his hair as we walked up the stairs “ha-ha your really funny sis” he chuckled “thanks oh hang on I have my guitar pad in my mum’s car I take it with me to all my friends houses so I thought fuck it might as well take it to my dad’s ha-ha be right back” I laughed as I ran down the stairs and out the door only to hear Adrianne shouting at Joey “what did you do Joey did you upset her?” I laughed as I walked back in with my guitar pad “no Adrianne he didn’t I just went to get this because I knew my mom would leave it in the car” I said eyeing my mom as if to say ‘yeah, next time remember it or this will be spoken of again mother’ Adrianne stood there shocked as I walked past with a guitar pad replica of Blue (my dad’s guitar) “oh and mother I hope you remembered to take cherry out of the car otherwise you know what will happen” I said making eyeing my mom again she nodded quickly I laughed and ran back up the stairs.
