Arms laced with scars
Face the music
That they will not be saved
By the God their hands
Clasped together in prayer for.

He has abandoned them
And labeled them useless
For being marred
With the ugliness of the world
He created.

The hatred they've felt
Was sharp as a knife,
Running the cuts deeper
In their damaged wrists.

But why?
They scream out.
Why were we chosen for this?
They'll receive no answer.
Not from heaven above
Nor from hell below.

There is none.
They were not chosen
To be broken andbeaten.
They were not meant to serve
A higher purpose.
They were simply
Unlucky.
