I am finally free from that wretched room. I am also allowed to have regular visits now. Frank has came by almost everyday since I was moved back into my single room. It has been very helpful, he tells me all the stories from their mini-tour. He seems very happy.
I haven't had an outburst since the window incident and the nurses and my psychiatrist are very pleased. They even mentioned me having a set release date. Right now it has been set as January 4th, 2004 but, if my behavior keeps progressing the way it has they will make it sooner. I am trying my best for once.
Today is the day that most patients get to leave the hospital for a few hours, any other time I would be stuck here while the others go out, but with my change in behavior I am now allowed to go also. We are going to the bowling alley and I am hoping I will see some familiar faces there. The key word in that sentence being, hoping.
"Okay guys" the nurse spoke up, "Everyone make your way to the van and we will be on our way to the bowling alley"
We all rushed to the van, excited to be getting out for a bit. The ride to the bowling alley was longer than expected. As soon as we got there I knew something wasn't right. Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion, the building wasn't as empty as I remembered it to be. As soon as I walked through the double doors I knew why.
A nurse stopped me as soon as we all entered the bowling alley, "Miss Violet, we have something for you",and she handed me a white box.
I nearly cried when I opened it, "These are release forms", I looked at her, "You mean..?"
"Yes, the Doctor has decided you are ready to be released, we already arranged for someone to pick you up here in about an hour." I smiled and hugged her, which seemed to shock her at first.
"Thank you so much", I whispered. She just nodded and told me to enjoy the rest of my time with my fellow "crazies" as she called them.
Before I knew it, my hour was up and my supposed ride had pulled up to the door. I told everyone buy and headed out the door. I figured it was probably Frankie picking me up but, I couldn't see through the tented windows.What happened when I opened the car door is a bit hard for me to explain. So I will just shorten it for you.
Only one person could be revealed as I opened the passenger's side door; Gerard Way.
