Bungle in the Jungle: A Harry Potter Adventure

An excellent chapter, I enjoyed the curse breaking. Those are difficult to do well; maybe I'll try again some day!

Thanks as always. I hope to make cursebreaking a trendy career choice for young Harry. We'll see how well I pull it off. Which story did you do about Cursebreaking?

Animagus, but I liked the joke quite a bit.
This chapter was fun to read as well. My favorite parts were the Crucio-insentive, the conversation about animagi vs. occlumensi (I have NO idea what the plural for occlumens is), and the bit at the end with Curious George and Peeping Fred.Author's response
Hey, I am still a bit uncertain about animage/animagus/animagi! It does make a good running joke. I am glad you had fun reading it. Harry has become a bit jaded and sarcastic. I think the tone of the story keeps that in the forefront of the reader's mind.

Nice chapter. I liked the apportation lessons. Probably very painful.
You've got me wondering what animal Harry will be. (I've been trying to decide that for my own fiction :-).
Nice curse breaking. Curious George and Fred - nice touch. I can see an older brother taking out his frustrations with them in a none harmful way.
Nice magical theory, btw.
Overall - good job.
Thanks for writing. I'm looking forward to more. I'm glad you've got a fairly regular update schedule. I appreciate how tough that is.

Another of the reviews I thought I had already responded to. Can you imagine how annoying the twins were as 5-8 year olds, must have driven Bill and Charlie up the wall.

"Nothing says hello
Like a Crucio."
Amaaaazing training aide, and very humorous too. Keep it as a running joke, maybe? Ah well, I was laughing my ass off at that and the Curious George and Peeping Fred. Please continue using them, maybe as a distraction during a fight? {Harry points wand at Ron's feet while git is ranting about "Harry rubbing in his superiority and hurting his sister blah blah", transfiguring two monkeys with sticks as big as they are. He gives them the compulsion to hit the Git in the shins, while Ron has remained oblivious the entire time. "--And you just had to ditch my sister, not even an apology for leaving her hanging like th- Ouch, DAMN monkeys, kicks one aside, which dizzily gets back up stumbles back towards Ron. The other remains unfazed Where was I?? OUCH, Oh, and then kicks second monkey of course you have to be a stronger OUCH wizard too OUCH you gives up and kicks monkey at Hermione, who is still in shock at the violent display Arrogant Self-satisfied Git! YO--" Hermione, infuriated that Ron killed one of the monkeys by kicking it in the head and landing in a heap at her feet, snapping its neck, sends a bludgeoning curse at Ron's head, giving him a concussion and shutting him up. The other monkey continues to stumble over towards Ron's shin. Hermione rushes over to the still advancing primate-formerly-a-leaf and breaks down in tears over the "poor poor helpless monkey, Ron never gave the cute thing a chance.weeps.... Harry:"\sarcasm\ It's nice to see you guys alive too \endsarcasm\..."
Just an idea, feel free to rip off or whatnot. Anywho, I loved that idea, you could really get some mileage out of it later. Keep up the good work!Author's response
Excellent visual! I see Ron isn't one of your favorites. Makes you wonder if the animal compulsions would work on Ron?
