Kerri's P.O.V
Two hours later.
"And you're sure this is going to work?" Andrea asked.
"I'm positive. He'll have no choice but to say he's sorry to me."
"Alright. Do you have the letter?"
"Right here in my back pocket." I said as I patted the back of my jeans. "C'mon people. We're next. Right after this band."
We stood back stage as the band before us played their last few seconds of their song.
"Thank you. We are Charlie's Turkey Club." The singer of the band before us spoke.
"Phhhhh. What a gay ass name for a band." I spoke softly.
"No kidding." Kaci giggled.
We watched as this other band started taking their instruments and equipment off the stage. It wasn't a very big stage at all to be honest because we like to move and jump around while doing out sets but this would have to do. It's the only stage that we have so we'll do our damnedest to rock it hard.
Brendon's P.O.V
I watched as this joke of a band gathered their stuff. God, they were terrible. I sure hope that this next band is a lot better. The label is only adding the best two bands out of the whole east coast area. Then we're moving on to the mid-west. I really don't know how much more of this I can take.
"Alright. The next band up to play is a sextet piece with all females." the producer spoke.
I rolled my eyes.
Oh boy, here it comes. Women's Lib is coming back into style.
"They call themselves Toxic Stereotype and they say what would make people like them is their instrumental arrangement, consisting of two guitars, two basses, drums, and a keyboard. Their real names are undisclosed. We have Rose on keyboard, Blade on drums, Motley and Seductra on bass, Kokaine on rhythm guitar, and Genocide on lead guitar and vocals."
I stared down at hands and was amazed at how dirty my fingernails were so I began to try and dig the dirt out.
"Thank you. We are Toxic Stereotype and we are definitely glad to be here this afternoon. Our folder says that we are going to do "Dead on Arrival" but due to the recent event of Mr. Urie here running into me this morning..."
I heard my name called. I looked up and there was the girl that ran into me this morning.
"Ry." I whispered.
"What?"
"That's the girl that ran into me this morning."
"Really?" he looked at me then looked at the stage then back at me and laughed. "It looks like that girl's got it in for you."
"Shut up Ryan."
Ryan shook his head and rolled his eyes.
"...We're doing a couple of songs dedicated to him."
"Well it's your set ladies. Do what you will." he said.
"Thanks." with that she nodded as I leaned back in my chair and folded my arms.
Kerri's P.O.V
"This song is called 'Over The Head, Below The Knees'"
I turned and faced Rachel so she could start out with the guitar tabs.
"One, two, one, two, three, four."
------------------------------------------
You must not have a heart; have nothing in your chest.
To let it go for long and let this go so far that it goes over your head...
You could fool anyone with your pensive smile.
And you can live in your lie for only a while.
And I can only take so much.
And I admit this could be love, but it goes over your head.
What does he have? Can you let go?
Can you tell me what I am aching to know?
What does he have? Can you let go?
Can you tell me what I am aching to know?
You can ruin any mood just by saying what's on your mind.
You could only tame her body, never tame her mind.
And I can only take so much.
And I admit this could be love, but it goes over your head.
What does he have? Can you let go?
Can you tell me what I am aching to know?
What does he have? Can you let go?
Can you tell me what I am aching to know?
What I am aching to know...
If I'm reaching you, you're not letting it show.
Use up your space, now there's no room to grow.
Too deep, can't breath, and you can't find the end.
It's right in front of you, but it goes over your head
Over your head, over your head, over your head.
What does he have? Can you let go?
Can you tell me what I am aching to know?
Yeah, what does he have? Can you let go?
Can you tell me what I am aching to know?
What I am aching to know?
Can you tell me what I am aching to know?
You must not have a heart; have nothing in your chest.
I pointed to him as I said the last line.
Brendon looked at me like it didn't faze him one bit.
----------------------------------------
"That was, 'Over The Head, Below the Knees'."
They clapped as I saw Ryan elbow Brendon in the side in which he responded in moving out of reach of him.
"Do you have a second song lined up for us?" the producer asked.
"Of course." I responded.
I turned around to look at my band as I slid the envelope out of my back pocket.
"And finally, this is also for Brendon. It's called Doubt Full. And hopefully Brendon will pay attention this time."
Brendon looked up at the stage as I held the plain white envelope up in front of me then placed it between the strings and handle of my guitar. I began to play.

This letter explains everything
The content it is the truth
Each word could cut like daggers
If I decide to finally give it to you
I've rewrote and rechecked a thousand times
Licked it shut and said my goodbyes
The lines are perfectly written to break wide open
this conclusion
And it feels like I've already been there
Sounds like I'm preaching to the choir
If it looks like it won't work out
I'm the one full of doubt
I know that time won't change a thing
If we're all moving in slow motion
It's hard to catch up
When the world is weighing you down
And it feels like I've already been there
Sounds like I'm preaching to the choir
If it looks like it wont work out
I'm the one
It feels like I've already been there
Sounds like I'm preaching to the choir
If it looks like it won't work out
I'm the one, one full of doubt
I'm confused
don't know what I should do now
You, could lose everything close to you
Tell me how does this feel?
When it feels like I've already been there
Sounds like I'm preaching to the choir
If it looks like it wont work out
I'm the one... yea
It feels like I've already been there
Sounds like I'm preaching to the choir
If it looks like it won't work out
I'm the one, the one full of doubt
-----------------------------------------
We played the last note of the song. I took my note out from my guitar, removed my guitar and strap from myself and handed it to Jennifer. I jumped off the front of the stage and walked over to where Brendon and the others were sitting.
"Here." I said to Brendon. "This is for you."
He looked at me irately and took it from my hands.
"I want you to make sure you read this. Don't throw it away."
"Whatever." He said and waved me away.
"Bye." I said and turned around
I hopped back on stage to help my band remove our equipment.
"He take it?" Andrea asked.
"Hell yeah he did." I told you he would. Doesn't mean he'll read it but it can't hurt right?"
"I guess." She said.
"Well, let's just go back to our rooms and wait for plan b to work itself out." I said slyly with a smirk.
She nodded as we packed up the rest of our belongings and walked off the stage.
