(The roach monster inches closer, as the familiar voice speaks from the shadows to Rayne.)
Rayne: whose there?
Voice: it doesn't matter, here take this gun.
(The mysterious person throws the gun from the shadows and Rayne grabs it.)
Rayne: this is just a regular gun.
Voice: no. It is a fire gun. It is like a flame thrower. Those roaches weakness is fire.
Rayne: thanks. I owe you one.
(Rayne charges at the huge monster.)
Rayne: take this you bastard.
(Rayne pulls the trigger and the fire spreads on the roaches burning them. The monster falls and breaks. Rayne starts setting all the roaches on fire.)
Roach Queen: my babies! My babies! You bitch! I'll kill you!
(The Roach Queen summons more roaches and they cover her forming a bigger queen.)
Rayne: I'll burn your ass as well.
Roach Queen: if you do, you'll kill Luna with me.
(Rayne remembers and drops the gun.)
Rayne: you coward.
Roach Queen: I call it being smart.
(The Roach Queen grabs Rayne and starts to squeeze her. Rayne screams in pain as the Roach Queen squeezes her hands tighter.)
Roach Queen: how do you like it Rayne?
Rayne: not much.
(Inside of the Roach Queen Luna hears Rayne's cry of pain. Luna gets the strength and anger and crashes through the Roach Queen stomach. Luna lands on her feet. Then Luna faints. The Roach Queen stutters and drops Rayne.)
Roach Queen: that little bitch. She actually had the strength to get out of my stomach.
(The Roach Queen reforms herself and sees Luna unconscious.)
Roach Queen: that brat has to go.
(Rayne gets up.)
Rayne: if you want her, you'll have to beat me.
Roach Queen: fine then.
(The Roach Queen slams her fist and Rayne gets out of the way.)
Rayne: you missed.
Roach Queen: I assure you, I won't miss again.
(Then from behind a person with a hood sets the Roach Queen on fire with a fire gun.)
Person: take that bitch.
Roach Queen: who are you?
Person: it doesn't matter. Your going to die.
Rayne: that person is right.
(Rayne jumps and slices the Roach Queen's head and the mysterious person burns the Queens head. The Roach Queen screams and then the person throws the gun to Rayne.)
Person: burn the rest of her.
(Rayne burns all of the roaches and the queen is no more.)
Rayne: (looking at the hooded person.) Who are you?
Person: I'm the voice from the shadows.
Rayne: no, tell me who are you?
Person: fine then.
(The person sheds her cloths.)
Ferril: it's me.
Rayne: why did you help me Ferril?
Ferril: I need your help.
Rayne: I'll pass.
(Rayne looks for Luna and spots her. She starts to walk towards Luna, but Shiva appears in front of Luna.)
Shiva: I was sent to get this girl.
Rayne: you'll have to fight me.
(Then Shiva sees Ferril.)
Shiva: Ephemera killed you.
Ferril: no, I'm not dead. I'm alive and well.
Shiva: I would kill you Ferril, but Kagan said get the girl.
(He picks up Luna.)
Rayne: let her go.
Shiva: if you want her, come to the tower. And Ferril, I'll let Kagan know that your alive.
(Shiva puts up a signal and vampires come out from the shadows.)
Shiva: Stop them.
(He escapes with Luna in his arms.)
Ferril: well Dhampir, I guess we have to team up.
Rayne: this is the only time. Don't get use to it.
Ferril: (to herself.) That's what you think.
(The vampires attack Rayne and Ferril. Rayne slices on one side and Ferril on the other. They both massacre the vampires with their deadly attacks. It was very easy for them.)
Ferril: (licking her hands.) That was so easy.
Rayne: they took Luna.
Ferril: who cares. She is only a little girl.
Rayne: shut the fuck up.
Ferril: don't tell me that you are worried about that brat.
(Rayne doesn't answer.)
Ferril: your too soft. I thought you were stronger than that.
Rayne: it's not that. She reminds me of when I was small.
Ferril: ah, let me play a sad song on a violin.
(Rayne gets angry and grabs Ferril by the throat.)
Rayne: tell me why I shouldn't kill you right now.
Ferril: (struggling.) Let go then.
(Rayne lets go.)
Ferril: thank you. You need my help to get to the tower.
Rayne: I don't need you.
Ferril: I know where's Severin and Luna being held.
Rayne: I thought Severin died. I forgot about him.
Ferril: he's alive and well. They both will be held in the dudgeon room.
Rayne: you know where that room is at.
Ferril: yes I do.
Rayne: why help me?
Ferril: don't you trust me.
(Rayne gives her a cold look.)
Ferril: guess not. Look I'm going to help you because I want Kagan dead as well.
Rayne: why?
Ferril: he betrayed me. He left me for dead. After Ephemera threw me off the building I was burning, but landed on my feet. My skin was burning because of the sun, so with my fingers I borrowed under ground and stood there until the shroud was spread and here I'm am.
Rayne: (thinking.) Okay, but only when I recover Severin and Luna. Then our partner ship is over and if you try something, I'll kill your ass.
Ferril: oh no sister. I wouldn't do that.
Rayne: then lets go.
(Rayne starts to leave and Ferril thinks to herself.)
Ferril: yeah Rayne I'll help you, but as soon as we get to Kagan. I'll be the one too take the credit, even if I have to kill you. I'll be queen of the vampires and after your out of the picture, I'll gain the power of the legendary vampire.
Rayne: lets go already.
Ferril: (In a friendly voice.) Coming sister.
(Ferril smiles a wicked smile and catches up with her sister.)
