Just Sleep
3 reviewsIt felt so real, yet it was just a bad dream....or maybe it was reality..
0Unrated
After a night filled with Netflix, unusual dinner conversations and long goodbyes, Frank and Gerard were once again alone.
"Gee, I'm tired." Frank whispered, resting his head on his boyfriend's shoulder.
"Then go to bed Frankie." Gerard whispered, holding his short lover close.
"Nu-uh if I do then you could leave, and if you leave bad stuff could happen!" Frank flailed tiredly, causing an equally tired Gerard to smile.
"Fine, I'll stay." Gerard led an exhausted Frank to his small bed, and slid under the navy blue covers after him.
"Gee?" Frank whispered into the darkness, resting his head on Gerard's chest, arm flopped over his boyfriend's stomach.
"Yeah Frankie?"
Taking in a deep breath, Frank spoke,
"I love you, you know that right?" Frank sat there, the quietness of his boyfriend killing him.
"Yeah Frank, I love you too." Gerard whispered, the smile in his voice evident.
"Mm, g'night." Frank whispered tiredly, falling asleep curled up against his loving boyfriend.
Gerard stared into the dark abyss that was his boyfriend's bedroom, deep in thought.
'You've sinned once too many
I love you, you know that right?
NOT THE KITTY
Oh god, imagine being him...that looks painful as fuck
She's not an old bat!
Frank DON'T CRAWL IN THE COFFIN
NOO
GERARD?!
DUDE DON'T JUST STAND THERE GET HELP!
Oh god, speak to me please
When his friendly thoughts turned against him, Gerard decided it was his time to go.
Grabbing the keys to his truck, Gerard slid out the window crawling down to the front lawn of the Iero residence.
Sliding into the drivers seat, Gerard groaned; lack of sleep punishing him.
Pulling out of the driveway and speeding down the road, everything suddenly mushed together.
The lines going down the middle of the road was now one big zig-zag, the cars passing by becoming one big blur of light, the sound of the engine fading into a distance, eyes closing Gerard gave up on being awake.
Leaning his head back, no second thoughts on why he didn't feel the softness of his pillow, Gerard allowed himself to fall into a deep sleep.
The sounds of car horns blaring awakened the tired boy, causing him to swerve out of harms way just in time.
"Holy shit, holy mother fucking shit, holy mother of meese." Gerard whispered to himself in shock, as he narrowly dodged being a new mudflap for a large semi-truck.
"Only a few more miles, a few more miles and a couple blocks. You can do it Gerard." The eldest Way brother whispered, eyes becoming heavy, tired.
"Just for a couple seconds." Gerard mumbled, eyes closing, truck gradually swerving into the middle of the road.
Car horns blared once again, causing the boy's eyes to snap open, only to be blinded by headlights, this time it was too late to dodge.
Waking up screaming, tears pouring off his face, Frank allowed himself to sob.
Each sob wracking his short frame, tears soaking his face, shirt and blanket as a pair of familiar arms wove around him.
"Shh, hey it's going to be alright." Gerard whispered, lips pressed against Frank's sweat mangled hair.
"Bu-but you left, you went to drive home and you-you got killed." Frank gasping for air explained the nightmare that had taken over his peaceful dreams, mere minutes ago.
"Frankie, I'm not going anywhere. And sure as hell not driving when I'm that tired." Gerard soothed, pulling his boyfriend back down into a laying position.
"Now just go to sleep." Gerard whispered, arm flopping over Frank's skinny waist, face nuzzling into the crook of his neck.
That was one helluva nightmare
What if it wasn't a nightmare?
"You've sinned once to many"
She said he's going to die..
The reality hit Frank so hard it became hard to breath.
I just saw how my boyfriend is going to die...
