Mikey’s POV
As Mia left the room Callie burst into tears.
“Hey, it’s okay, everything’s okay,” I whispered.
“No it’s not! Mia’s right! If I had stayed there any longer I could almost dead! That could tear her apart! I’m all she’s got!” she cried.
I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her to my chest.
“I know that Mia’s grateful that you helped her, you wouldn’t be dead, I would never let that happen,” I whispered.
She looked up at me.
“Really?” she asked.
I nodded and lightly kissed her forehead.
She blushed slightly and hugged me tightly.
“I like you with blue hair, it brings out your amazing blue eyes,” I said.
I could tell she was getting embarrassed as she buried my head in my chest.
“Why wear the wig?” I asked.
“Cause my mom would kill me, she has all the teachers on red alert, the guys and Skye,” she mumbled.
“Oh,” I said.
We sat in silence still hugging each other.
The school bell then rang out and Callie stood up.
“Come on, time for music,” she said.
Hozzie’s POV
“Gee, I think we’re a bit early,” I said walking into the music room.
“Yeah, I needed to talk to you,” he said running a hand through his hair.
“Okay sure, what’s up?” I asked.
“Erm well the thing is…well…I really like you Hozzie,” he said.
I stood and stared for a moment.
“I just really needed to tell you and I was wondering if you wanted to go out some time, you don’t have to say yes, I-”
I cut him off by pressing my lips to his.
He immediately kissed back and wrapped his arms around my waist.
I then snaked my arms around his neck and pulled him closer.
He lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist.
“Whoa! Guys! Take it easy!”
We pulled away from each other panting and saw Callie and Mikey in the doorway.
“Dammit Callie, we were just getting to the good bit,” Gerard said smacking my butt gently.
I giggled quietly.
“Be grateful, Skye won’t be happy if you get it on in here, she’ll cut your throats out,” she said dumping her bag on the floor.
I then saw her bruised and cut face.
I got off of Gerard and hugged her tightly.
“I’m so glad you’re okay,” I whispered.
“Course I’m okay, you’re not gonna get rid of me that easily,” she said hugging me back.
“Dammit,” Gerard mumbled.
Callie obviously heard as she kicked him in the shin.
“OW! Fuck you Callie!” she shouted clutching his shin.
“I love you too Gerard,” she said sweetly.
Bob, Jennifer, Frank, Penina, Ray and Kasper walked in.
“Is this the whole class?” Mikey asked.
“Yep,” Penina said popping the P.
Skye then walked in.
“Okay let’s get this mother fucking party started,” she said dumping her stuff on the desk.
The guys eyes widened over the fact a teacher just cussed.
“Right as we have new students, I think it would be best if you girls show them what we’re about,” she said.
Bob’s POV
I watched as the girls picked up their instruments.
Kasper picked up a bass, Hozzie picked up a guitar, Penina picked up the other guitar, Callie sat on the drum stool and Jennifer stood in front of the microphone.
I lent forward slightly, anticipating what I was about to happen.
Music started playing and Jennifer sang.

As the music faded out I sat there and starred.
They were awesome!
Jennifer’s voice…it’s just so beautiful.
We all then started cheering.
They all gave a little nervous bow.
“Awesome work girls, okay guys pair up and I’ll tell your next project,” Skye said.
Jennifer walked up to me and smiled.
“Can I be your partner?” she asked.
“Yeah sure,” I said.
She sat next to me and grinned.
“You were great just then, you’re voice is amazing,” I said.
She blushed ever so slightly.
“Thanks,” she said.
“Okay, who’s with who,” Skye mumbled.
She then wrote our names up:
Hozzie and Gerard
Jennifer and Bob
Callie and Mikey
Penina and Frank
Kasper and Ray
“Okay so I want you to compose a piece of music, instrumental only about your partner,” Skye said.
I raised my eyebrow.
She looked around at all of us.
“I can see through all of you, so for example Mikey over there clearly thinks Callie is fucking hot,” she said pointing at him.
He went bright red.
“So he writes a song about how hot she is, none of replacing LMFAO’s title with She’s sexy and I know it” she said.
Mikey shrank into his chair.
Callie giggled quietly.
“So you get the idea, so get to know your partners,” she said.
Callie’s POV
I giggled at how embarrassed Mikey was.
“Callie, you do know that Skye was messing around just then,” Mikey mumbled.
I smiled at him.
“Course I did,” I said.
He looked at me and sighed in relief.
“Phew, for a moment I thought you thought I had a huge crush on you or something,” he said.
I gave a small smile but my heart sank impossibly far.
1 hour later…
I tucked Mia into bed and kissed her forehead gently.
“Night Mia,” I whispered.
“Hey! You didn’t read me a bedtime story!” she cried.
“Oh sorry honey, what do you want me to read you?” I asked.
“Peter Pan! Peter Pan!” she exclaimed.
“Okay sweetie,” I said picking up the book and lay next to Mia.
“Okay, All children, except one, grow up. They soon know that they will grow up, and the way Wendy knew was this…”
Mikey’s POV
I walked down the corridor and heard Callie’s voice coming from Mia’s room
“Surely you know what a kiss is? She asked, aghast, I shall know when you give it to me he replied stiffly, and not to hurt his feeling she gave him a thimble, Now said he, shall I give you a kiss? And she replied with a slight primness, If you please She made herself rather cheap by inclining her face toward him, but he merely dropped an acorn button into her hand…”
She stopped as she saw Mia had fallen asleep.
She put the book away and kissed Mia’s forehead.
I sighed and walked away.
I should have told her the truth…
