Fantastic story I can't wait for the next chapter to come out. I look forward to what and if you write what harry inherits.Author's response
Hey ralphmullins.
Next chapter in a few days. I’ve deliberately kept vague on the matter of inheritance, as I’ve seen so many stories that have him as the über-richest man in the world. (For that, you’ll have to see my upcoming crack-fic, ‘Cliché’s Abound.’)
Here, he mentioned in the precursor that he has several thousand tonnes of gold in his ship, and I can assume that same amount in his vaults. According to Canon, Harry is the heir of the Potter and Gryffindor lines. He’s wealthy enough to buy whatever he needs, but that’s pretty much it.

Great to read you again mate. Could always see Dumbles leaving some residual problems just to stuff his life up further. Enjoyed his take down of Dumbles but once again Dumbles got off to easily. Liked his joy in meeting Hermione again(name of craft quite apt). Looking forward to more. Cheers.
ZAuthor's response
Heya Z!
Dumbledore is going to have mucho problems of his own, and the first of them is going to be; ‘What Happened to The Boy Who Lived?’
In that nexus, Dumbledore was already dead. Not a lot Harry could do to him…and knocking him on his ass would be so satisfying to Harry. Still, unlike in ‘Jedi’ Harry’s going to
directly ‘influence’ Dumbledore’s rather gruesome demise.
What else could I name her but ‘My Little’.

Heya lordamnesia.
You’ll get the first taste of the story direction in the next part.

I like the story so far and I've liked all of your stories previously.
However, the one problem I have with a do-over and Hermione not being sent back, is that we have a thousand year old man in love with a eleven year old. That's a bit oogy as far as I'm concerned.
Hopefully, you'll have some neat way around it. Looking forward to further chapters.Author's response
Heya pastorv
I appreciate that.
As to the thousand year old man, I can see your point. However, I do have a way around it. Remember when Merlin said they’d make some changes? Well that’s one way. He’s also going to merge with his younger self. Since he needs Hermione, guess which self will be the one who shows up?

Ugh - If he's that goddamn powerful then fucking slaughter the bastards until they leave him alone.
Nothing wrong with fighting for your freedom - several fucking countries did it. "No taxation without representation".

When the horcruxes appear in Book 2, you cannot say that they were a 'horrible and pulled out of the butt' idea.
Yes, we did not know how Tom Riddle was ensconced in the diary until Book 6, but that was enough foreshadowing for me.A THOUSAND YEARS

Pretty good starting premise and nice to see future Harry has some checks on his power.
The reset is a bit of a cop-out though. Harry and his ship are vaporized to subatomic particles, but somehow he gets to take his ship back in time?
Otherwise, nice tight story start.A THOUSAND YEARS

Ya know, this is the second or third time I've tried to read this. Every other time I've somehow lost it. I'm very hopeful that before the end of the story Harry'll have put both dork loads in their respective graves while preventing the massive loss of life that resulted from their little pissing contest. The brainless bearded wonder blunder truly is nothing more then another dark lord masquerading as the leader of the light. No one will likely ever know exactly how many he sent to their deaths all for his greater good. As for Snape being a spy, for which side or was it both against the middle? Between him and the ol' brainless bearded wonder blunder, I don't know who's responsible for how unprepared the magical world of England was for the return of Riddle. Fumbles certainly didn't do anything to prepare England for Riddle the first or second time. And Snape's inability to teach potions to any but Slytherins insured there wouldn't be enough Aroras or Healers for any up coming war. From the stories that I've read, one needs a NEWTs in potions for either job. But by the time most students reach their NEWTs level classes they're so sick of dealing with the man that they drop that class. Now the ol' brainless bearded wonder blunder may think that if those students truly wanted to be one or the other they'd find somewhere else to train in the subject. My question to that is " Why should they have to? " Didn't they pay enough already to learn it while attending Hogshits?
