A THOUSAND YEARS

That was quick. Sirius, Pettigre, Millie, and Dumbledore all taken care of in one trial.
Now what of Snape? Harry just keeps skipping over the idiot.Author's response
Heya Tom!
What can I say? Badda bing, badda boom! One, two, three, yer’ out!
Seriously though, such antics would never be tolerated in a modern court system…however, based upon canon, the WW is anything but a modern system. Bwahahahahahahaha!
Don’t you worry about Snape. He gets his in a little while. (Figurative December)

Nice part. Very nice evil Dumbles you have here, Harry should have fun with him.
Author's response
Heya Rob.
I’ve been told I‘m wrong, but I simply cannot see Dumbles as anything but evil. I think I’ve only written two or three stories where I don’t portray him as a hidden or incipient dark lord.
Harry will mostly ignore Dumbledore…in fact, the damage he’s done himself by trying on that ring, will take care of him quite nicely. There will be a confrontation at the very end though.

Liked the honesty of the goblins, "What's in it for us". Can see Dumbles going very dark, specially if he is going to work with Narcissa. Hope Harry, Hogwarts & the Hat keep him under control, hopefully with much pain. Cheers.
ZAuthor's response
Heya Z!
Yeah, I really wish I could have come up with something better than I did to sweeten the deal for the gobs, but every idea I tried, came across the same block. Even with Amelia in the drivers seat, the WW is still in the hands of the Purebloods. It’s gonna take some time before anything real comes about. Still, they managed to hammer out something.
Dumbledore is my definition of evil. Like politicians, he completely ignores that he is supposed to represent the people and not just a select few. In this case, he’s grasping to keep his power.
Narcissa: It’s interesting to note that until Book Sux: Episode 1, Narcissa was a blank canvas. Many fanauthors had her as an unwilling accomplice, or even under some sort of compulsion/curse, enforced by her marriage to Lucy. Then that book came out and Rowling’s ghostwriter had to keep with her whole ‘All Slytherins are evil’ theme, and so made the flower out to be as bigoted as Lucy and Lucy-junior.
Le Sigh!
Never fear, with the curse he’s contracted and with Snape’s impending removal from the castle, Dumbo’s gonna be in considerable pain.
Ta.

Fantastic chapter I can't wait for the next chapter. I hope is as good as this one was.Author's response
Heya ralphmullins.
Thanks, and quite honestly, so do I. While I’ve got several parts done, I’m writing the intermediate stuff on the fly.

As always I'm enjoying seeing Dumbles get smacked! Please let Harry get Snape next! I'd also love to see what Rita's take on all this will be; and does Harry have anything in mind for her since she hurt Hermione in the future past? Many thanks for another fun story! :)Author's response
Heya Teresa! It’s been a while!
Any time I get to smack the twinkling one, I take it! I’ve said before, I truly detest the character.
Due to the plotline I’ve established, I need to keep Snape free until late December. Don’t worry though, he’ll get to spend Christmas with a bottle of Veritaserum.
Rita: I hadn’t intended to include her at all, as she had no involvement with Harry’s life until his fourth year, and I’m trying to keep this as tight as possible, but now that you mention her…

Fine chapter. I'm still waiting for an update on "Revolution" as well from Shadrac. Thanks for writing. W.Author's response
Heya Wolf!
Thank you. Yeah, one of my pet peeves is an author who stops writing in the middle of a great story. There are so many of them that for one reason or other, just seem to…vanish. Speaking of…have you heard from Seel’vor lately? Everything from him, and a few others I could name, just stopped back in 2010, and unfortunately I don’t have regular access to the net.

Loved it loved it LOVED IT! Any time Dumbledore doesn't get his manipulative way is always good in my book. I also love you very creative handling of the veritiserum. Adds a lot of detail and intrigue to the story. I hope thought that we see more of Harry in the next chapter. When is he going to meet his wife?Author's response
Heya Slayer.
Thank you, thank you, and thank yeeewww!
Yeah, Dumbledore is so much fun to stomp on. I detest the character, so any time I get to slap him down, I take it.
Veritaserum: Having been a police officer, and having spent so many years in the military, I recognize the importance of a proper chain of evidence. How easy would it be to slip a clear poison into the bottle and have the witness suffer ‘a mysterious heart attack’. Since everybody there KNEW Black was guilty, that would have been the end of the story. Nobody would have questioned his guilt.
Harry: Yo will see more of Harry in the next parts.
Harry will meet Hermione on (figurative) October first.
‘Til then…

accepted by Carolyn in Sirius’ behalf
in should be on
normally i'd send this message in a pm but you don't seem to have them turned onAuthor's response
Heya goku.
Sorry about the typo(s). I’m using Word2000 and my automatic spell checker seems to have gone tits-up. I’m working on the problem, but expect to find more than a few errors in the near future. Sorry.
