- Um, since they know what it is, couldn't they easily just look it up? Then, it wouldn't take much to take a rooster down, use a compulsion to make it crow, and then be done with it.
When I saw that Moody blamed Dumbles for how bad thing were going in the last war, I made a connection. The old pedo was probably clamoring for leniency for DE because they had a bunch of pretty poufs like Lucius that he wanted a piece of.
I guess watching one of Harry's girls getting Parseltongued left her thinking that she was going to just be happy with what she had.
Wait, so the six Dukes are Potter, Black, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin? So Harry is in control of five of the six, and Sirius is in control of the sixth? Oh this just keeps getting better and better. It probably won't happen in the story, but I wouldn't mind seeing an omake of side story where Harry and Sirius actually do remove their authority and grace. Would prove quite amusing.
Wait, why is Dumbledore getting upset about being called a homosexual? He slept with Snape, he had designs on No Name, and his vision in the Mirror of Erised make it pretty fucking plain. Or is it that he has problems with others knowing it.
Dumbledore won't learn until someone kills his ass. Personally, I think Harry should sneak attack, and nut Dumbledore.
- I like the direction you've taken with the coven witches in that they are choosing their reality such that it is. I have paused a few times on the cut and paste in the first two or three chapters (they repeat in the middle).
The other pause is the s&m and slurs for lgbt groups. If the pain, dominance and consent based violence was explained I'm pretty sure it can be understood; however, it seems like men are being emasculated for force and Chang lives without similar physical damage after brutalizing Luna because she is a what? A woman? A female bully or predator?
The last names for lgbt males is one sided. Most are slurs in English speaking countries. Maybe it adds spice to bashing in some circles; however lesbian acts for male gratification. Is a okay? Either it is both worthy of objection or it is both acceptable. It is not poofter this, f word that, or any other diatribe against men while there rampant lady bits in action with and without underage kids in the midst. There is no high rode to the behavior in this tale just hypocrisy.
- Other than the mistake of twice posting the same chapter twice, the story is much improved. I remember the first time this story appeared and always wished it had been continued. Back then it seemed as if the story was more on how the squibs could be a good part of magical society and progress.
The one thing missing is a large Lemon Warning at the beginning of the story. The over the top sexual content is beyond titillating and well into buffoonery.
- Like another reviewer, I remember this story from long back ... I had hopes that this repost would have continued the story ...
Responding to mgenna, it might be argued that the males were nutted after repeat offences and warnings, unlike Cho who (so far I remember reading) has stopped after the first warning. That said, H is frequently described by the characters as protecting women and children, so you probably have the right of it.
I agree that the lemons have gone too far, for me anyway. By about the 3rd omnibus chapter of this posting, I find myself scrolling past them. Lemon warnings bracketing those sections would make that easier.
The story itself I find compelling ... the idea of pulling squibs together and revolutionizing magic is interesting and I've seen it in only a few other stories. I'm interested to see this developed further.
Thanks for writing.
