“Nervous, Mikes?”

Mikey nodded, trying to straighten his tie with shaking hands. Gerard smiled reassuringly, gently moving his brother’s hands away from the tie and straightening it for him. Mikey quietly thanked him, sighing softly in an attempt to calm himself down.

Gerard pulled his younger brother into an embrace, rubbing his back. “Everything’s going to be fine, Mikey. This is going to be one of the most memorable days of your life, and when you look back on it, you’ll wonder why you were nervous in the first place.” Gerard kissed Mikey’s forehead before pulling away, making sure he didn’t wrinkle his brother’s suit.

Mikey smiled at his brother, feeling reassured. “Thank you, Gee.”

Gerard smiled and nodded. “I’m gonna go check in on Justin to see if he’s ready. I’ll be back in a few, Mikey.”

Mikey nodded and sat down, sighing softly. He ran his fingers through his hair carefully, smiling at the thought of what was to happen. He may have been nervous, but he was also incredibly excited. This was something that he waited four months for, and now that it was here, he could hardly believe it.

A few minutes later, Gerard walked back in, smiling. “Ready, Mikey?”

Mikey nodded, standing up and carefully picking up the bouquet. Gerard took his arm, kissing his forehead softly before leading him out of the room.

Mikey took a deep breath as they stepped into the large room, where Justin was waiting at the altar. Bandit was there, holding a little basket of flower petals. She was in a dress, like Gerard had wanted, but was wearing a little cat hairpin, as though her father had (reluctantly) negotiated with the child. She started throwing down the petals, moving forward as Gerard gently led Mikey down the aisle.

Once Mikey reached the altar, Gerard gave him another reassuring smile before letting go of his arm, taking his seat next to Lindsey. Mikey sighed softly, smiling lovingly at Justin. Justin returned the smile, waiting for the justice of the peace to begin the ceremony.

Mikey was barely listening to the priest as he tried to calm his nerves. It wasn’t until the justice said, “Do you, Justin Siegel, take Michael Way as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold for better or worse, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?”

“I do.”

“And do you, Michael Way, take Justin Siegel as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold for better or worse, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?”

Mikey smiled, tearing up a bit. “I do.”

Mikey’s heart was pounding in his ears, barely hearing the justice conclude the ceremony. He felt Justin pull him close and kiss him softly. Mikey smiled into the kiss, wrapping his arms around Justin’s neck.

Justin pulled away, murmuring, “I love you.”

“I love you, too.”

Justin kissed the top of Mikey’s head, pulling the blankets around them. He gently stroked Mikey’s lower back, fingers ghosting strange patterns over his husband’s skin. Mikey, in return, softly nuzzled Justin’s chest, listening to his heart beat in his chest.

“Mm… that was great, Justin,” Mikey mumbled, burying his face into the crook of Justin’s neck.

“It was, baby,” Justin murmured, kissing Mikey gently. He gently took his husband’s hand and smiled at the wedding ring. “Today was the best day of my life.”

Mikey giggled softly, snuggling closer to Justin. “Just wait until our family is complete.”

Justin held Mikey tighter, stroking his hair. “I can’t wait, Mikes.”

Mikey yawned softly, closing his eyes. “Neither can I, Justin.” Slowly, his breathing began to level out.

“I love you, Mikey,” Justin murmured.

“I love you, too, Justin,” Mikey mumbled before falling asleep.

Justin opened his eyes the next morning, feeling well-rested. He glanced down at Mikey, who was curled up beside him, snoring softly. Justin smiled down at his sleeping husband, reaching over to stroke his hair. Mikey purred softly, snuggling closer to his lover in his sleep.

Justin pulled the blankets around Mikey, kissing a hickey he left on his shoulder the previous night before crawling out of bed. He then proceeded to pull on a pair of boxers and some pajama pants before he began to brew some coffee. He then stepped back into the bedroom and sat beside Mikey, gently resting a hand on his stomach.

Justin smiled, softly rubbing Mikey’s stomach. A content sigh from his sleeping husband told him that Mikey was having a sweet dream, a dream that Justin didn’t want to take him away from. Instead, he laid down beside Mikey and softly stroked his cheek, pressing a soft, sweet kiss to his forehead.

It wasn’t much longer until Mikey stirred, opening his sleep-filled hazel eyes. He smiled at Justin, who pressed a soft, loving kiss to his forehead. “Good morning, Mikey Mouse.”

“Mm… ‘morning, baby.” He snuggled close to Justin, smiling sleepily. He yawned softly, sitting up. Justin wrapped his arms around Mikey from behind, prompting him to lean against his chest. Justin pressed a kiss to the side of Mikey’s neck, resting his hands on his lover’s stomach. Mikey rested his head on Justin’s shoulder, nuzzling his neck as a soft sigh of content escaped him.

They sat in a comfortable silence, snuggled up in the bed together, both unwilling to leave. Finally, Mikey stood, deciding that he needed a shower. Smiling softly, he followed Mikey into the bathroom, tugging off the pants and boxers he had thrown on. He locked the door behind them before following Mikey into the shower, gently kissing his lover’s cheek. Mikey turned on the water and sighed softly, smiling when Justin wrapped his arms around him from behind.

Mikey rested his head against Justin’s shoulder, smiling up at him. Justin pressed his lips softly to Mikey’s, gently rubbing his stomach. Mikey turned and wrapped his arms around Justin’s neck, humming softly against his husband’s lips.

Justin held Mikey close, running his fingers through his husband’s wet hair. Moments like these felt nice- no intense making-out, no sex- just showering together in the morning, holding each other as the water splattered down on them and sharing soft, sweet kisses.

As Justin gently cleaned Mikey’s stomach, a small smile appeared on his face. He knelt down and kissed his pregnant husband’s stomach, whispering, “I can’t wait until you’re here.”
