In the library.

Cloe was on one of the computers when she saw Gerard walk up to Melody. She decided to sit close to her. Where they couldn't see her.

"Did you ask her yet?" Melody asked.

"No."

"Why the hell not?"

"'Cause. I can't." Gerard said. "I'm-I'm waaay to nervous."

"She's one of your best friends. Ask her."

"But yeah, maybe I like her but Cloe's different. I don't know."

"I mean. She loves you already. She can love you more!"

"As a friend tho'."

"Maybe not."

Cloe popped up from behind the computer. "Hey guys."

Melody smiled. 'ASK HER' she mouthed.

Walking back to the dorm Gerard caught up with Cloe.

"Umm, hey." He said.

"Hey."

"You know how the halloween dance is next week."

"Yeah."

"So I was wondering if you'd like to go with me?"

"I'd love to."

Gerard's world lit up. So much skipped home.
