Wait really? I never noticed that! Umm maybe JK was just reminding us of her love of the #? I always wondered if maybe Harry's magic was a bit blocked by the horcrucx . Because if he can blow up his aunt, why can't he make perfect transfigurations and stuff?Author's response
Thank u(once again!) for responding. Come back next week for another question, and tell your friends!Harry Potter Questions That Will Make You Think

I think one of the suggestions that they had peter maybe transform and report back to them or maybe cast spells to reveal the magical ward outline could work. And as for the students, they probably snuck into Dumbledore's office and copied the registry to show any person ever that attended hog warts to show up. But it sounds like it was really complex spell work .Harry Potter Questions That Will Make You Think

Seven is a 'lucky' number, some would say. And didn't Voldemort fragment his soul into about seven pieces too? Maybe the number seven is a bit more meaningful than I'm aware of.
How did the Marauders create the map? Magic, lol.
I don't think I'm good enough for any of the Harry Potter characters.
Hmm... I'm missing a question, aren't I?Author's response

1. I think it was planned all along by Rowling to imply or symbolize that Harry was the seventh accidental horocruxHarry Potter Questions That Will Make You Think

2. I assume that the map has to be tied to the wards of the castle somehow. I figure that between a genius like Moony is supposed to be and two old family purebloods they'd have been able to find ways to tap into the wards.
5. I'd prevent the death of James Potter. Think about it, Voldemort stuns him thinking he can execute him in public for the blow to morality it would be. Voldie dies upstairs anyway and James wakes up to find his wife dead and his son has just been marked for a prophecy. It would change just about everything. I mean really, the brains, power and ruthlessness of the Marauders all united to protect Harry. Heck, they might kill Voldemort off completely before Harry even starts Hogwarts.Harry Potter Questions That Will Make You Think

Well, it is know that 7 is the most magically powerful number, so Harry’s quidditch number is 7. It is also why Voldemort had his soul split into 7 pieces (the diary, locket, diadem, cup, ring, Nagini and himself) before accidently making another one from harry.Harry Potter Questions That Will Make You Think

7 is just popular. 7 pieces of soul, 7 years attendence, 7 members per team, 7 floors in castle, jkr liked 7.
The map obviously is tied into the castle wards. It scans and tracks which seems fairly basic, but tying it to Hogwarts seems VERY unlikely for mere students.
Luna without a doubt for dating, but I wouldn't say no to Tonks either.
Would save Tonks she is so much fun and is wasted on a self hating pessimist like Remus.
Favorite characters. 1. Luna 2. Tonks 3. Dobby. Honorable mention to Mad-Eye Moody.

I pose a question. Why isnt ANYONE in the correct houses. Weasleys Twins, Percy, Ginny and Ron are Slytherins. Hermione Ravenclaw. Harry is pure Hufflepuff. Draco is a Gryffindor.Harry Potter Questions That Will Make You Think

1. Harry's number in Quidditch is #7. Do you think this has any meaning? If so, what is it?
I think that the number seven has always been seen as a magical number. Hence, the absurd amount of seven going around. Additionally, seven might have been J.K. Rowling's favorite number. Or perhaps it came out that way. We may never know.
2 How do you think the Marauders made the map?
I believe that there must be some sort of chink in the spell that makes Hogwarts unable to be mapped. Being the Marauders, they must have found said chink and taken advantage of it. But we must remember that they never mapped the Room of Requirement, leading the reader to wonder if they never found it, wished to keep it a secret, or could not map it.
3. Do you think that Harry, Ron, and Hermione all have something in common with Harry's mother? (Deeper than hair color?)
I think that each of them has a little bit of Lily, which is remarkable since she only birthed one of them. You see, Harry has her compassion. Hermione, her brains. And Ron, her bravery. This is what makes them better together then by themselves.
4.Which Harry Potter character would you date?
I would date Remus Lupin or Sirius Black as they seem the most interesting overall. However, there isn't a lot of choice considering one of my requirements for a date is that they must provide good conversation, which is why I chose the two I did.
5. If you could have prevented one death in Harry Potter, which one would it be?(Mine would be Dumbledore, or Dobby.)
I would prevent the death of either Remus or Sirius. Besides the fact that I find their characters to be deep and thoughtful, I feel as if they had too little time with Harry. Even with James and Lily gone, Harry wasn't an orphan because of Remus and Sirius. Because they died, he was left truly and orphan, though one could argue that he had Molly and Arthur. As a second (or third as it may be) choice, I would save Fred.
6. Who is your favorite Harry Potter character?
This is hard to answer, as there are so many different personalities that are very interesting. I have to say that mine would be a match between Tom Riddle (due to his upbringing and ending, I find him morbidly interesting), Remus and/or Sirius (look above), and Narcissa Malfoy (her character is seen too little and it's such a good one).
